Chandler. <br />None <br /> <br />Each member of the City Council having received copies of the <br />Minutes of November 30th and December 7th, 1953, reading of the <br />Minutes was dispensed with and approved on motion of Councilman <br />Jerome, seconded by Dahl and carried. <br /> <br />In Re <br />Hearing date <br />"Revised West Tract <br />and Santa Ana Acres" <br />Ordinance Approving <br />Annexation <br /> <br /> This being the date ~et for hearing protests on annexation to the Cit <br /> of certain uninhabited territory designated as "Revised West Tract <br /> <br /> Santa Ama Acres", no protests were received. On motion of Councilman <br />· Dahl, seconded by Larsen and carried, the following Ordinance entitl, <br /> <br />"Ordinance approving the annexation of that <br />certain territory designated "Revised West <br />Tract and Santa Aha Acres" <br /> <br />In Re <br />Tentative Map of' <br />Tracts Nos. 2068, <br />2069 and 2070 <br /> <br />In Re <br />Amend. Application <br />Rmuce W. Albert etal <br />Reclassify from R-1 <br />to E-2; north side <br />W.Washington btn <br />College and English <br /> <br />was introduced, considered and placed on file for second reading. <br /># <br />At the reques~ of Jim Guthrie, representing the sellers of the sub- <br />division, action on Tentative Map of Tracts Nos. 2068, 2069 and 2070, <br /> <br />was held over until next meeting,on motion of Councilman Dahl, <br /># by Lateen and carried. <br />This being the date set for hearing' and no protects were received on <br /> <br />the Amendment Application of Bruce W. Albert etal to reclassify from <br />the R-1 District to the R-2 District Lots 2 through 11 and X, Block A <br />and Lots 1 through 3, Block B, Tract No. 451, N.M. 16-41, located on <br /> <br />the north side of West Washington Avenue between College Avenue and <br /> <br />English Street. Jack Newton, 1803 West Washington Avenue stated <br /> <br />that he would prefer the property to be reclassified to permit <br /> <br />separated units. On motion of Councilman Dahl, seconded by Jerome <br />and carried, the Attorney was instructed to prepare an Ordinance to <br /> <br />reolassif~ the property from the R-1 District to the R-2 District, as <br /> <br />In Re <br />Bids <br />Construct Baker <br />St. bridge across <br />Santiago Creek <br /> <br />recommended by the Planning Commission. <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Jerome, seconded by Dahl and carried, the <br />Clerk was authorized to open bids for the construction of concrete <br />piers and ramps for foot bridge at Baker Street and Santiago Avenue, <br /> <br />as follows= <br /> <br />Bid of Albert S. Pratt, Jr. <br />Bond in the sum of 10%. <br />Total $~,~00.00. <br /> <br />Bid of Xast Construction Co. Inc., <br />Bond in the sum of $500.00. <br />Total <br /> <br />Bid of Owl Truck and Construction Co. <br />Bond in the sum of 10%. <br />Total $5,830.00. <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Jerome, seoonded by Lateen and carried, the <br />bids were referred to the Manager and Director of Public Works for <br /> <br />In Re <br />Bids <br />One trailer-mounted <br />brush and tree chipper <br /> <br />recommendation. <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Jerome, seoonded by Lateen and carried, the <br />Clerk was authorized to open the bids for the furnishing of one trail, <br />mounted brush and tree chipper, as follows= <br /> <br /> <br />
