RESOLUTIOI~ i';O. 60-212 ItqITIA~ING PROCEEDINGS FOR THE ANNE~ATIO[~,~ OF TERRITORY TO THE CITY OF SANTA ARA, DESIGNATING Al'? APPROPRIATE K~iE OF "~IS~Eb[TIETH AND LYOn[ ANNEX" FOR SAiD TERRITORY, AND GIVING NOTICE OF PROTEST HEARING THEREON %%~EREAS, at the request of property owners in the territory herein described, a description and a map of said territory were presented to the Santa Ana Planning Co~]~ission, and said Commission approved the Annexation of said Territory, and said description and map were presented to the Boundary Commission of Orange County, California, and said Boundary Con~ission caused to be prepared a report finding the proposed boundaries to be reasonably definite and certain. ~i, ~'HE~EFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: fhat the City Council of the City of Santa Ana hereby ini~ates proceedings for annexation of said Territory herein described, to the City of Santa Ana for the following reasons: 1.) That said territory is presently in need of municipal services, particularly access to an adequate sewerage system, and in the City of Santa Ana said territory could be connected into the Santa Aha sewerage trunks and mains without paying any cost for said lines. 2.) 'l~nat the area can best be served by the City of Santa Ana with municipal services of the highest quality anywhere obtainable. 3.) ~nat it is to the mutual advantage of the land owners and the City of Santa Ana that said territory become a part of said City. ~E iT FUR.i~HER RESOLVED: ~fhat t~e City Council hereby declares its intention to annex all of the territory hereinbelow described under the provisions of the Annexation of Uninhabited Territory Act of 1939, and hereby finds and declares that said territory is unin- habited within the meaning of California Government Code Section -1-
