RESOLUTION NO. 60-229 ACKNOWLEDGING THE RECEIPT <br />OF A COPY OF NOTICE OF INTENTION TO CIRCULATE <br />PETITION FOR ANNEXATION OF TERRITORY TO SANTA ANA, <br />ACCOMPANYING STATEMENT AND AFFIDAVIT OF PUBLICATION <br />THEREOF AND APPROVING THE CIRCULATION OF THE PETITION. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, heretofore there was filed with the City Clerk with <br />the City of Santa Ana a copy of NOTICE OF INTENTION TO CIRCULATE <br />PETITION FOR ANNEXATION OF TERRITORY TO THE CITY OF SANTA ANA, <br />CALIFORNIA, accompanied by a written statement containing reasons <br />for said petition together with an affidavit of publication of the <br />same in the Santa Ana Register on November 9th, 1960; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Annexation Act of 1913 provides that the Legis- <br />lative Body may adopt a resolution acknowledging receipt of the <br />notice and approving the circulation of the petition. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the <br />City of Santa Ana hereby acknowledges receipt of said notice, state- <br />ment and affidavit, as hereinabove set out, and that approval be and <br />the sa~ae is hereby given for the circulation of the petition for <br />annexation of that certain territory heretofore and hereby designated <br />as "FAIRHAVEN AND ESPLANADE WEST ANNEX". The circulation of said <br />petition shall not begin until twenty-one (21) days after the date <br />of publication of said notice and statement. <br /> <br /> That the territory herein designated "FAIRHAVEN AND ESPLANADE <br />WEST ANNEX" lies in the County of Orange, State of California, and <br /> <br />is described as: <br /> <br /> <br />
