RESOLUTION NO. 60-231 DECLARING ~HE CONSENT OF <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF SANTA ANA TO COmmENCEMENT OF <br />PROCEEDINGS UNDER THE At~NEXATION ACT OF 1913 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, residents and property owners in the area lying <br />Northeasterly of the present Santa Ana City boundaries have filed a <br />request that this City consent to the initiation of proceedings for <br />annexation as required by Section 35106 of the Government Code; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a map and description of the boundaries of said area <br />have been presented to the Planning Commission of the City of Santa <br />Ana for their consideration, and said Planning Commission has reported <br />to this City Council and has recommended that said annexation be con- <br />sented to and approved by this City Council. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the <br />City of Santa Ana hereby consents to the commencement of proceedings <br />for the annexation of territory to be known as "Vanderlip and Newport <br />Northwest Annexation", in accordance with the map and description <br />heretofore presented to the Santa Ana Planning Commission and to this <br />City Council. <br /> <br />£ASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana <br />at its adjourned regular meeting held on the 15th day of November, 1960. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />CLERK OF THE COUNCIL <br /> <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA) <br />COUNTY OF ORANGE ) <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA ) <br /> <br />SS <br /> <br /> I, MARION SUTTNER, do hereby certify that I am the Clerk of the <br />Council of the City of Santa Ana; that the foregoing Resolution was <br />regularly introduced to said Council at its adjourned regular meeting <br />held on the lSth day of November, 1960, and was at said meeting regu- <br />larly passed and adopted by the following vote, to-wit: <br /> <br />COUNCILMEN: <br />COUNCILMEN: <br />COUNCILMEN: <br /> <br />AYES, <br /> <br />NOES, <br /> <br />ABSENT, <br /> <br />Royal E.
