RESOLUTION NO. 60-250 ACCEPTING DEEDS ~q{ERE <br />THE CITY IS PAYING A CASH CONSIDERATION <br /> <br /> ~%{EREAS, THE~Z~ BACA has presented to the City a deed j ~ <br />dated Noventber 30, 1980, granting to the CitM certain parcels of <br />real property located on Fairview Street, North of Ninth Street <br />in consideration of the payment of $17,000.00. Said transaction <br />is to ~e handled through Escrow No. 45623-C with the Security <br />Title Insurance Company~ 82S North Broadway, Santa Aha, California; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, W. F. CRODDY and ~4AURINE ~4. CRODDY have presented <br /> .................... /-0?¥ <br />to the City a deed dated December 1, 1960, conveying an easement <br /> <br />for street purposes on the South side of Edinger Street, East of <br />~{ohawk Drive, in consideration of the payment of $250.00. Said <br />transaction is to be handled through Escrow No. 390194-HRB with <br />the Orange County Title Company, Santa Ana, California; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, PAUL ADRIAN BENNETT has presented to the City a / ~ <br />deed dated November 28, 1960, granting to the City a parcel of real <br /> <br />property located in the Santa Ana Civic Center area and described <br /> <br />as: <br /> <br /> That portion of the Julian Chavez Allotment, described <br /> as follows: <br /> <br /> Commencing at a point on the West line of Garnsey Street, <br /> 205 feet South of the South line of Eighth Street; thence <br /> West 125 feet; thence South 50 feet; thence East 125 feet; <br /> thence North 50 feet to the point of beginning, <br /> <br />in consideration of the payment of $12,200.00 as basic consideration, <br />and $3,370.84 to Alert Construction Company, Inc. for expenses <br />incurred for construction, plans and fees, plus reconveyance fee <br />and recording of reconveyance; and also a sum not determined at <br />this time to be paid to American Savings and Loan Association to <br />~ose a second trust deed to cover construction loan plus interest <br />to close of escrow.
