Published Dec. 17, 1960 c: Planning - Pub <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 60-255 APPROVING MAP AND DECLARING <br />INTENTION TO VACATE PORTIONS OF McFADDEN AVENUE <br />WEST OF FAIRVIEW STREET <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it appears that McFadden Avenue should be <br />realigned between Sullivan Street and the Santa Ana River Channel, <br />and after engineering studies and agreements on exchange of rights <br />of way, the Public Works Department has recommended that portions <br />of McFadden Avenue right of way be vacated where the same lies <br /> <br /> outside of the new street alignment. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council <br /> <br />hereby adopts the map attached hereto and orders that the same <br /> <br />be filed with the original of this Resolution in the office of the <br /> <br />Clerk of the Council and reference is hereby made to said map for <br /> <br />particulars and exact location and extent of the rights of way <br /> <br />proposed to be vacated. The City Council hereby declares its in- <br /> <br />tention to vacate for street purposes those portions of ~4cFadden <br /> <br />Avenue in the City of Santa Aha, County of Orange, State of Call- <br /> <br />fornia, described as: <br /> <br />PARCEL 1: <br /> <br />A strip of land 84 feet in width, the center line of <br />which is described as follows: <br /> <br />Commencing at the common corner of Section 14, 15, 22 <br />and 23, in Township 5 South, Range t0 West, San Bernardino <br />Base and Meridian and running thence North 0° 47' 20" <br />West along the East line of said Section 15, said East <br />line being the center line of Sullivan Street, 1322.68 feet <br />to the true point of beginning; thence South 89° 22' 28" <br />West 1679.21 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve <br />concave Northerly having a radius of 1000.00 feet; thence <br />Westerly along the arc of said curve through a central <br />angle of 27° 30' 00" 479.97 feet to a tangent line; thence <br />North 63° 7' 32" West along said tangent line to the <br />Easterly right of way line of the former Newbert Protection <br />District right of way for the channel of the Santa Ana <br />River. Said 84 foot wide strip of land being bounded <br />Westerly by said Easterly right of way line of the former <br />Newbert Protection District. Said 84 foot wide strip of <br />land being bounded Easterly by a line which is 42 feet <br />Southerly measured at right angles and parallel with the <br />following described line: commencing at the common corner <br />of Section 14, 15, 22 and 23, in said Township and Range, <br />and running thence North 0° 47' 20" West along the East <br />line of said Section 15, 1322.68 feet; thence South <br /> <br />-1- <br /> <br /> <br />
