RESOLUTION NO. 60-~6Z: APPROVING ~P AND DECLARING <br />INTENTION TO VACATE A PORTION OF NORTH GA~SEY <br />STREET, SOUTH OF SEVENTEENTH STREET <br /> <br /> ~E~EAS, SALE~A F. TUCKER, J~4ES B. TUCi~R, ~--~., and <br />BARBARA TUC~ER LASHBROOK have petitioned the City Council to <br />vacate that portion of North Garnsey Street located South of <br />Seventeenth Street; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, SALENA F. TUCKER, J~.dES B. TUCKER, JR., and <br /> <br />BARBAi~A TUCKER LASHBROOK are the owners of all of the property <br />adjoining said Street to the East and South, and it is understood <br />that said owners hold an option to purchase the property adjoining <br />the street to the West, and state that they will be the owners of <br />said property prior to the c~upletion of the abandorm'~ent proceedings; <br />and <br /> <br /> ?~HER~AS, after study, the City Council has dete~ined that <br />the street is unnecessary for present and future pmrposeS and that <br />it serves no purpose as dedicated. <br /> <br />~!OW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: 'l~lat the City Council hereby <br /> <br />adopts ~he map attached hereto and orders that the same be filed <br /> <br />with the original of this Resolution in the office of the Cler]~ of <br /> <br />the Council and reference is hereby made to said map for particulars <br /> <br />and exact location and extent of the right-of-way proposed to be <br /> <br />vacated. <br /> <br />The Cit~ Council hereby declares its intention to vacate for <br /> <br />street purposes that portion of North Garnsey Street in the City of <br /> <br />Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of California, described as: <br /> <br /> Beginning at a point on the South line of Seventeenth <br />Street as widened to $0 feet by final decree of condemnation <br />rendered January tl, 1932, in Case No. 27242 in the Superior <br />Court of California in and for the County of Orange, Which <br />point is South 0° 1t' 47" West 40 feet from a point in the <br />North line of Section 12, Township 5 South, Range 10 West, <br />S. B. B. & ~., 250.55 feet East of the intersection of said <br />North line with the center line of Flower Street as shown <br />on a map of Tract No. 74~. recorded in Book 30, Page 9 of <br />iliscellaneous ~4aps, records of Orange County; thence South <br /> <br />-1- <br /> <br /> <br />
