RESOLUTION 66-10 CONSENTING TO DETACHMENT OF
<br />UNINHABITED TERRITORY FROM THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
<br />FOR THE PURPOSE OF PERMITTING THE SAME TO BE
<br />ANNEXED TO THE CITY OF TUSTINUNDER THE NAME OF
<br />"PROPOSED YORBA STREET ANNEXATION NO. 3"
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Ana has received
<br />and filed a request that This Body adopt a resolution consenting to
<br />detachment of certain territory, the description of which has been
<br />approved by the Orange County Local Agency Formation Commission as
<br />"PROPOSED YORBA STREET ANNEXATION NO. 3 TO THE CITY OF TUSTIN", and
<br />which request contained the consent of at least two-thirds ofthe
<br />owners of real property and two-thirds of the assessed value of the
<br />territory to be affected, and said request and consent was properly
<br />signed by said owners; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, negotiations between the two cities and the owners
<br />of said territory have resulted in agreement by all parties.
<br />
<br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the
<br />City of Santa Aha hereby consents to the detachment from the City of
<br />Santa Aha,for the purpose of allowing annexation to the City of
<br />Tustin, that certain real property in the City of Santa Ana, County
<br />of Orange, State of California, described as:
<br />
<br /> Beginning at the Southeast corner of Lot 2 of the Felipe Yorba
<br /> Tract as shown on a map thereof recorded in Book 4, page 206 of
<br /> Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles County, California, said
<br /> corner being on the existing City boundary of the City of Tustin
<br /> per Ordinance No. 135, and per City of Tustin Ordinance No. 279,
<br /> said corner also being an angle point in the existing City boundary
<br /> of the City of Santa Aha per Ordinance No. NS-379; thence, following
<br /> along said Tustin and Santa Ana boundary line N 89° 22' 45" W,
<br /> 298.34 feet along said South line of Lot 2, to the Southeast corner
<br /> of that certain parcel of land conveyed to the State of California
<br /> per deed recorded in Book 5518, page 461, Official Records of
<br /> Orange County, California; thence, departing from said Santa Aha
<br /> and said Tustin boundary, along the Easterly line of said State
<br /> parcel, N 4° 32' 23" E, 708.88 feet; thence, N 8° 10' 53" E 35.59
<br /> feet, to a point on the North line of said Lot 2, said point also i~.
<br /> being the Southeast corner of that certain parcel of land conveyed
<br /> to the State of California per a deed recorded in Book5749, Page 956,
<br /> Official Records of Orange County; thence, along the Easterly line
<br /> of last said State parcel, N 5° 06' 12" E, 753.76 feet, to a point
<br /> On the South line of Lot 4 of said Felipe Yorba Tract, said j point
<br /> also being the Southeast corner of that certain parcel of land
<br /> conveyed to the State of California per a deed recorded in Book 5517,
<br /> p~ge 188, Official Records of Orange County, California; thence,
<br /> along the Easterly line of last said State parcel, N 5° 06' 12" E,
<br /> 200.71 feet; thence, N 10° 12' 00" E, 417.68 feet; thence
<br /> N 16° 15' 37" E, 144.45 feet, to a point on the North line of said
<br /> Lot 4; thence, N 33° 21' 47" E, 112.69 feet, to the East line of
<br /> said Felipe Yorba Tract, said line being on said boundary line of
<br /> Santa Ana and also being on said boundary of Tustin; thence along
<br /> said East line also being said City boundary lines, S 0° 35' 24" W,
<br /> 2,339.80 feet, to the point of beginning.
