RESOLUTION 66-12 ACCEPTING DEEDS WHERE THE CITY
<br />IS PAYING NO CASH CONSIDERATION
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, PAUL V. BIRNBAUM, KATHLEEN BIRNBAUM, NEIL A. BIRNBAUM,
<br />and JOSEPHINE BIRNBAUMhave delivered to the City a deed dated
<br />January 4, 1966, conveying an easement for street purposes on the
<br />north side of Warner Avenue and the east side of Hathaway Street; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, NELLIE RUTH SEGERSTROM, HAROLT T. SEGERSTROM, HAROLD
<br />T. SEGERSTROM, JR., HENRY T. SEGERSTROM, VERONICA P. SEGERSTROM,
<br />YVONNE deC. SEGERSTROM, JEANETTE E. SEGERSTROM, ESTATE OF ANTON H.
<br />SEGERSTROM, Deceased, HENRY T. SEGERSTROM, CO-EXECUTOR, and NELLIE
<br />RUTH SEGERSTROM, CO-EXECUTOR, have delivered to the City a deed dated
<br />October 18, 1965, conveying easements for street purposes for Fairview
<br />Street, south of Segerstrom Avenue; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, ROBERT H. SPAHN and JOANNE M. SPAHN have delivered to
<br />the City a deed dated January 15, 1966, conveying an easement for
<br />street purposes on the west side of Newhope Street, north of McFadden
<br />Avenue; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, BETHEL MISSIONARy BAPTIST CHURCH has delivered to the
<br />City a deed dated December 29, 1965, conveying an easement for street
<br />purposes on the east side of Euclid Street, south of McFadden Avenue;
<br />and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, SHOSUKE NITTA and TAKA NITTA have delivered to the City
<br />a deed dated January 11, 1966, conveying an easement for street purposes
<br />on the east side of Grand Avenue at Hunter Avenue in consideration of
<br />work to be performed by the City at said location as set forth in
<br />Escrow No. 870574-hrb with First American Title Insurance & Trust
<br />Company, Santa Ana, California; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, all of said deeds are without cash consideration being
<br />paid to said grantors by the City.
<br />
<br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor is hereby
<br />authorized to sign the Escrow Instructions; that the City of Santa Ana
<br />accepts said deeds, and Carl J. Thornton, the City's designated agent,
<br />is directed to place his Certificate of Acceptance on said deeds.

<br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana
<br />at its regular meeting held on the 17th day of January, 1966.
