RESOLUTION 66-15 APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING <br />EXECUTION OF A JOINT EXERCISE OF POWERS <br />AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AND <br />THE COUNTY OF ORANGE CREATING THE ORANGE <br />COUNTY CIVIC CENTER AUTHORITY <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the COUNTY OF ORANGE and the CITY OF SANTA ANA have <br />reached agreement for the development of an area in the CITY for <br />the location of CITY and COUNTY buildings and structures; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, after several studies, planning sessions, and <br />conferences, the CITY and COUNTY have prepared an instrument to <br />create the ORANGE COUNTY CIVIC CENTER AUTHORITY to further their <br />individual and joint purposes in the creation, financing, and <br />construction of buildings and facilities; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, said instrument is in final form and has been <br />approved by each of the partiesthereto. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the <br />City of Santa Ana approves that certain Agreement dated January 17, <br />1966, between the CITY and the COUNTY OF ORANGE, entitled "JOINT <br />EXERCISE OF POWERS AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AND THE <br />COUNTY OF ORANGE CREATING THE ORANGE COUNTY CIVIC CENTER AUTHORITY", <br />and directs the Mayor and the Clerk of the Council to execute the <br />same for and on behalf of the CITY OF SANTA ANA. <br /> <br />Ana <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />CLERK OF THE COUNCIL <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa <br />at its regular meeting held on the 17th day of January, 1966. <br /> <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA) <br />COUNTY OF ORANGE ) <br /> CITY OF SANTA ANA ) <br /> <br />SS <br /> <br /> I, DORIS M.
