RESOLUTION 66-17 MODIFYING CONDITIONS IMPOSED <br />BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION IN GRANTING VARIANCE <br />ON APPLICATION NO. 2200 FILED BY HAROLD GRIFFIN <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, after public hearing on notice, the Planning Commission <br />has granted a variance on Variance Application NO. 2200, filed by <br />HAROLD GRIFFIN to permit the use of R-2 property at 113 North Gunther <br />Street, Santa Ana, California, for off-street parking; said Variance <br />was granted subject to certain conditions; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Appeal Application No. 172 was duly filed by the <br />applicant appealing the requirement that the existing building on the <br />subject property be removed and presenting the matter to the City <br />Council; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council, after hearing, has determined that <br />said Variance should be granted, but that the building should be <br />allowed to remain on the property and that the only access be from the <br />alley. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the conditions imposed by <br />the Planning Commission in the granting of a variance on Variance <br />Application No. 2200 are hereby modified to read as follows: <br /> <br />That the applicant submit a revised plot plan; said plan to be <br /> approved by the Planning Department and development be <br /> according to plot plan except for minor modifications approved <br /> by the Planning Department. <br /> <br />2. That Section 9247.1 of the Santa Ana Municipal Code (Dimensions <br /> of Parking Area and Access) be complied with. <br /> <br />3. That Section 9247.2 of the Santa Ana Municipal Code (Maintenance <br /> and Operation) be complied with. <br /> <br />4. That the landscaping indicated in the plot plan be implemented <br /> and maintained. <br /> <br />5. That the subdivider submit street improvement plans for Gunther <br /> Street. <br /> <br />6. That all elevations be on 1958 Orange County Survey Datum. <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />That all plans and surveys for the required improvements be <br /> completed by the owner's engineer and submitted to the <br /> Department of Public Works for approval. <br /> <br />That the owner place curb, gutter and sidewalk and pave up to the <br /> edge of existing pavement on Gunther Street. The new curb and <br /> gutter to be placed 18 feet east of the center of Gunther <br /> Street. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />That use of existing building be limited to storage, that the <br /> rear door be closed, and that the only access be from the <br /> alley, and that the building be allowed to remain only during <br /> the existance of this variance or the life of the building, <br /> whichever is shorter, or until the encroachment on the alley <br /> is required to be removed. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa <br />Aha at its regular meeting held on the 7th day of February, 1966. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />CLERK OF THE COUNCIL <br /> <br /> <br />
