Application to continue as a Career Services Provider under WIOA Title I grant <br />February 18, 2025 <br />Page 2 <br />At its regularly scheduled meeting on January 16, 2025, the WDB recommended the <br />above action by a vote of 13 in favor, 0 against, and 7 absent (Araujo, Hernandez, <br />Lopez, Milatovich, Miller, Perez, Sams absent). Approval of the application will ensure <br />that the Santa Ana WORK Center maintains its WIOA eligibility and supports the timely <br />implementation of monthly reports that track expenses, payments, and the awarding of <br />contracts and activities with service providers that work with eligible participants that <br />must be entered into CalJOBS. Failure to approve the application could jeopardize the <br />City's compliance with State -mandated performance metrics and may lead to a loss of <br />WIOA funding. The application to continue as a Career Services Provider is due to the <br />California Workforce Development Board by March 1, 2025 (Exhibit 1). <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />There is no fiscal impact associated with this action. <br />EXHIBIT(S) <br />1.
