RESOLUTION 66-21 AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF
<br />REAL PROPERTY CONTRACTS AND ACCEPTING GRANT
<br />DEEDS FOR THE ACQUISITION OF PROPERTY FOR
<br />CIVIC CENTER PROJECT NO. G.A. 401
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, the Department of Real Property Services of the
<br />County of Orange, acting for and on behalf of the City of Santa Aha,
<br />has negotiated and conditionally delivered to the City Real Property
<br />Contracts and Deeds executed by grantors, as herelnbelow set out,
<br />each conveying a parcel of real property for Civic Center Project
<br />No. G.A. 491; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, JOHN MACRES has executed a deed dated December 28,
<br />1965, conveying to the City of Santa Aha real property located on
<br />the west side of Van Ness Avenue, south of Sixth Street, and
<br />designated as Parcel No. 176, for a consideration of $12,200.00; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, ROBERT W. NOLD and MARY ANN NOLD have executed a
<br />deed dated January 3, 1966, conveying to the City of Santa Ana real
<br />property located on the west side of Van Ness Avenue, north of Fifth
<br />Street, and designated as Parcel No. 186, for a consideration of
<br />$27,450.00; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, LUCILLE E. CHURCH has executed a deed dated
<br />January 4, 1966, conveying to the City of Santa Aha real property
<br />located on the east side of Van Ness Avenue, north of Fifth Street,
<br />and designated as Parcel No. 207, for a consideration of $9,300.00;
<br />and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, ALICE N. KLIEWER, a widow and G. T. KLIEWER, a
<br />married man, as his separate property, have executed a deed dated
<br />December 31, 1965, conveying to the City of Santa Ana real property
<br />located on the east side of Van Ness Avenue, north of Fifth Street,
<br />and designated as Parcel No. 208, for a consideration of $19,600.00;
<br />and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, WILLIAM F. CONTRERAS has executed a deed dated
<br />December 30, 1965, conveying to the City of Santa Ana real property
<br />located on the north side of Fifth Street, east of Van Ness Avenue,
<br />and designated as Parcel No. 209, for a consideration of $28,500.00;
<br />and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, CATHERINE STINSON, a widow, and EUGENE GEORGE
<br />STINSON, a single man, as joint tenants, have executed a deed dated
<br />December 28, 1965, conveying to the City of Santa Ana real property
<br />located on the north side of Fifth Street, east of Van Ness Avenue,
<br />and designated as Parcel No. 210, for a consideration of $25,750.00;
<br />and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, ROSE HOLLO, a widow, VERA HOHNER, a married woman,
<br />and ROSE M. HOHNER, a married woman, all as joint tenants, have
<br />executed a deed dated January 4, 1966, conveying to the City of
<br />Santa Aha real property located on the north side of Fifth Street,
<br />west of Ross Street, and designated as Parcel No. 211, for a
<br />consideration of $29,000.00; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, WILLIAM K. ARTHUR and JEAN C. ARTHUR have executed
<br />a deed dated January 24, 1966, conveying to the City of Santa Ana
<br />real property located on the south side of Fifth Street, east of
<br />Parton Street, and designated as Parcel No. 190, for a consideration
<br />of $33,000,00;
<br />
<br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor and the
<br />Clerk of the Council are hereby authorized and directed to execute
<br />said Real Property Contracts for the City; that the City of Santa
