RESOLUTION 66-25 ACCEPTING DEEDS WHERE THE CITY
<br />IS PAYING NO CASH CONSIDERATION
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, ALL-STATE MANAGEMENT, INC., a California corporation,
<br />has executed a deed dated January 28, 1966, conveying to the City of
<br />Santa Aha an easement for street purposes on the north side of
<br />Edinger Avenue and the west side of Grand Avenue; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, RUSSELL ROHRS, a married man, as his separate property,
<br />MARVIN ROHRS, a married man, as his separate property, LOIS BROWN, a
<br />married woman, as her separate property, and MARVIN ROHRS, RUSSELL
<br />ROHRS, and LOIS BROWN, as Trustees under Trust A. under a Declaration
<br />of Trust by Fred Rohrs, dated April 2, 1963, have executed a deed
<br />dated February 3, 1966, conveying to the City of Santa Ana an easement
<br />for street purposes on the south side of Seventeenth Street and the
<br />east side of Grand Avenue; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, Frederick Friedman, as Executor of the estate of
<br />ANNA A. FRIEDMAN, deceased, has executed a deed dated December 27,
<br />1963, conveying to the City of Santa Ana an easement for road purposes
<br />on the south side of Seventeenth Street, east of Bristol Street; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, CARL J. KLATT and LENA A. KLATT have executed a deed
<br />dated February 14, 1966, conveying to the City of Santa Aha an ease-
<br />ment for street purposes on the north side of Seventeenth Street,
<br />west of Tustin Avenue; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, ROBERT G. GILBERT and ANNE C. GILBERT have executed
<br />a deed dated February 12, 1966, conveying to the City of Santa Ana
<br />an easement for street purposes on the east side of Newhope Street,
<br />north of Camile Street; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, JOHN P. QUIRK and MAXINE M. QUIRK have executed a
<br />deed dated February 11, 1966, conveying to the City of Santa Ana an
<br />easement for street purposes on the west side of Newhope Street, north
<br />of Camile Street; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, CHURCH OF THE BIBLE, a corporation, has executed a
<br />deed dated January 17, 1966, conveying to the City of Santa Ana an
<br />easement for street purposes on the north side of McFadden Avenue,
<br />west of Newhope Street; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, GULF OIL CORPORATION, a Pennsylvania corporation,
<br />successor by merger to GULF OIL CORPORATION OF CALIFORNIA, a Delaware
<br />corporation, has executed a deed dated February 9, 1966, conveying an
<br />easement for street purposes on the west side of Harbor Boulevard and
<br />the south side of Hazard Avenue; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, A. W. LEWIS has executed a deed dated February 14,
<br />1966, conveying to the City of Santa Ana an easement for street
<br />purposes on the north side of Warner Avenue, east of the Southern
<br />Pacific Railroad right of way; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, all of said deeds are without cash consideration being
<br />paid to said grantors by the City.
<br />
<br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of Santa Ana
<br />accepts said deeds and Carl J. Thornton, the City's designated agent,
<br />is directed to place his Certificate of Acceptance on said deeds.
<br />
<br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
<br />Ana at its regular meeting held on the 21st day of February, 1966.
