RESOLUTION 66-33 AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF REAL <br />PROPERTY CONTRACTS AND ACCEPTING GRANT DEEDS <br />FOR THE ACQUISITION OF PROPERTY FOR CIVIC CENTER <br />PROJECT NO. G. A. 401 <br /> <br /> WI{EREAS, the Department of Real Property services of the <br />County of Orange, acting for and on behalf of the City of Santa Ana, <br />has negotiated and conditionally delivered to the City Real Property <br />Contracts and Deeds executed by grantors, as hereinbelow set out, <br />each conveying a parcel of real property for Civic Center Project <br />No. G. A. 401; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, MARY M. LAMB and EDITH M. LAMB have executed a deed <br />dated February 11, 1966, conveying to the City of Santa Aha real <br />property located on the south side of Sixth Street and the east side <br />of Parton Street, and designated as Parcel No. 181, for a considera- <br />tion of $35,000.00; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, HELEN STORY CAMPBELL and JOHN C. CAMPBELL have <br />executed a deed dated December 14, 1965, conveying to the City of <br />Santa Ana real property located on the south side of Fifth Street <br />and the west side of Van Ness Avenue, and designated as Parcel <br />No. 187, for a consideration of $28,000.00; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor and the Clerk <br />of the Council are hereby authorized and directed to execute said <br />Real Property Contracts for the City; that the City of Santa Aha <br />accepts said deeds, and Carl J. Thornton, the City's designated agent, <br />is directed to place his Certificate of Acceptance thereon. <br /> <br /> The Director of Finance is hereby authorized to issue his <br />warrants in the amounts specified above to the grantors or their <br />assigns and to deliver each warrant as directed by said Department <br />of Real Property Services to the grantor or his assigns when the City <br />has received title to the parcel of real property conveyed by said <br />grantor as hereinabove set out. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa <br />Ana at its regular meeting held on the 7th day of March, 1966. <br /> <br /> OF THE COUNCIL <br /> <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA) <br />COUNTY OF ORANGE ) <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA ) <br /> <br />SS <br /> <br /> I, DORIS M.
