ANCON <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />RFP 24-028 CONFINED SPACE <br />RESCUE SERVICE & TRAINING <br />Introduction: Ancon's DCS division is dedicated to providing exceptional confined <br />space rescue services and training to the City of Santa Ana. We fully understand the <br />requirements outlined in RFP No. 24-028 and are committed to ensuring the safety and <br />success of all PRCS operations conducted by the City and its partners. Our team is <br />prepared to deliver these critical services with the highest level of professionalism and <br />expertise. Further, we recognize the critical nature of confined space rescue and <br />training and are committed to delivering high -quality, reliable confined space stand-by <br />services during permit -required confined space (PRCS) entries to ensure the safety of <br />City staff, City consultants, and City contractors. <br />Provision of Confined Space Stand-by Services <br />a. Ancon Services' DCS division will be responsible for providing confined space <br />stand-by services during PRCS entries. <br />b. Our team will be on -site to offer immediate rescue assistance in case of <br />emergencies, ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations and industry best <br />practices. <br />2. Types of Confined Spaces Covered <br />We understand that the majority of PRCS entries will involve: <br />a. Appurtenance Vaults: Areas housing pipelines, electrical equipment, and other <br />utilities. <br />b. Water Reservoir Tanks: Large tanks storing potable water or other types of water <br />used by the city. <br />c. Culverts: Structures allowing water to flow under roads, trails, or railways. <br />d. Excavations and Trenches: Sites requiring significant digging and structural <br />support. <br />e. Other Work Sites: Various other confined spaces as defined by the city's <br />operational needs. <br />3. As -Needed Support Services <br />a. PRCS support services from our DCS division will be provided on an as -needed <br />basis. <br />b. We will maintain flexibility and responsiveness to accommodate the City's <br />schedule and requirements, ensuring our team is available whenever required. <br />Qe www.anconservices.com 11 <br />
