AGREEMENT <br /> <br />AGREF24ENT FOR THE PURCHASE BY THE CITY OF SANTA ANA, <br />CALIFORNIA, OF THE STATE'S TITLE TO TAX DEEDED <br />PROPERTY WITHIN SAID CITY AS PROVIDED BY DIVISION I, <br />PART 6, CHAPTER 8, OF THE REVENUE AND TAXATION CODE <br />OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> · 1966, by and~ <br />between the BOARD OF SUPERVISORS' of the COUNT~ OF oRANGE, State of <br />California. and the CITY OF SANTA ANA, a municipal corporation in the <br />State Of California, sub3ect to the approval of the state Controller, <br />pursuant to the provisions of Division I, Part 6, Chapter 8, of the <br />Revenue and Taxation Code, <br /> <br />W I T N E S SETH_: <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, there is situated An the City of Santa Ana certain <br />property which is deeded to the State of California for delinquent <br />taxes; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the deed to the State for taxes includes taxes levied <br />by the City of Santa Ana, the taxes of which are collected by the <br />County officers; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY MUTUALLY AGREED, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. That as provided in Section 3800 of the Revenue and~Taxation <br />Code, the cost of giving the notice of this Agreement shall be paid by <br />the City of Santa Aha; <br /> <br /> 2. That the Board of Supervisors of the County of Orange agrees <br />to sell to the City of Santa Ana all or any portion of the property <br />described in Exhibit "A", attached hereto and made a part hereof, which <br />shall not have been redeemed as provided in the Revenue and Taxation <br />Code, upon payment by said City to the tax collector of said County the <br />sum set forth in said Exhibit after the description of the property and <br />designated "PURCHASE PRICE", within ten (10) days after this Agreement <br /> <br /> ~comes effective. <br /> <br /> 3. That as provided by Section 3808 of the Revenue and Taxation <br />Code, the City will pay the "purchase price" to the County tax <br /> <br />-1- <br /> <br /> <br />
