RESOLUTION 66-56 ACCEPTING DEEDS WHERE THE CITY
<br />IS PAYING A CASH CONSIDERATION
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS AFFAIRS OF THE STATE OF
<br />CALIFORNIA, ANGEL CASTRO and DOROTHYCASTRO have executed a deed
<br />dated March 25, 1966, conveying an easement for street purposes on
<br />the south side of Eighth Street, west of Hawley Street, in consideration
<br />of the sum of $1,195.00 and certain remedial work to be done by the
<br />City; said transaction is to be handled through Escrow No. 874009-hrb
<br />with First American Title Insurance & Trust Company, Santa Aha,
<br />California; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS AFFAIRS OF THE STATE OF
<br />CALIFORNIA, CATARINO PONCE MEDINA and TRINIDAD L. MEDINA have executed
<br />a deed dated March 25, 1966, conveying an easement for street purposes
<br />on the south side of Eighth Street, east of Fairview Street, in
<br />consideration of the sum of $2,720.00 and certain remedial work to be
<br />done by the City; said transaction is to be handled through Escrow
<br />No. 874029-hrb with First American Title Insurance & Trust Company,
<br />Santa Ana, California; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, HY-WEL ENTERPRISES, a partnership, has executed a
<br />deed dated March 24, 1966, conveying easements for street purposes
<br />on the north side of Eighth Street, east of Fairview Street, in
<br />consideration of the sum of $2,500.00 and certain remedial work to
<br />be done by the City; said transaction is to be handled through
<br />Escrow No. 874032-hrb with First American Title Insurance & Trust
<br />Company, Santa Ana, California; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, TIRZO M. MELGOZA and AMELIA V. MELGOZAhave executed
<br />a deed dated March 14, 1966, conveying an easement for street purposes
<br />on the south side of Eighth Street, east of Hawley Street, in
<br />consideration of the sum of $4,890.00 and certain remedial work to
<br />be done by the City; said transaction is to be handled through
<br />Escrow No. 873646-hrb with First American Title Insurance & Trust
<br />Company, Santa Aha, California; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, FRANCISCO GOMEZ and JOSEPHINE GOMEZ have executed a
<br />deed dated April 2, 1966, conveying an easement for street purposes
<br />on the north side of Eighth Street, west of Hawley Street, in
<br />consideration of the sum of $657.50 and certain remedial work to
<br />be done by the City; said transaction is to be handled through
<br />Escrow No. 874015-hrb with First American Title Insurance & Trust
<br />Company, Santa Ana, California; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, JULE C. AXLESON has executed a deed dated April 8,
<br />1966, conveying to the City certain real property south of Edinger
<br />Avenue, from the Southern Pacific Railroad right of way to Grand
<br />Avenue, for the East Reservoir, in consideration of the sum of
<br />$60,329.00; said transaction is to be handled through Escrow
<br />No. 874086 and Supplemental Escrow Instructions with First American
<br />Title Insurance & Trust Company, Santa Aha, California; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, ALBERT VILLA NIEVES and SOLEDAD GOMEZ NIEVES have
<br />executed a deed dated April 2, 1966, conveying to the City an easement
<br />for street purposes on the north side of Eighth Street, west of Hawley
<br />Street, in consideration of the sum of $1,390.00 and certain remedial
<br />work to be done by the City; said transaction is to be handled
<br />through Escrow NO. 874017-hrb with First American Title Insurance &
<br />Trust Company, Santa Aha, California; and
