RESOLUTION 66-59 AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF THREE
<br />GRANT DEEDS GRANTING CERTAIN CITY-OWNED PROPERTY
<br />IN THE CIVIC CENTER AREA TO THE ORANGE COUNTY
<br />CIVIC CENTER AUTHORITY
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, heretofore, the Orange County Civic Center Authority
<br />was duly created by an agreement entitled "Joint Exercise of Powers
<br />Agreement Between the City of Santa Aha and the County of Orange
<br />Creating the Orange County Civic Center Authority", and to carry
<br />saidAgreement into effect and to comply with the terms thereof,
<br />it is now necessary that the City execute three deeds granting
<br />property to the Orange County Civic Center Authority and authorize
<br />and execute, as lessee, three leases, each nominated "Civic Center
<br />Lease", whereby said property is leased back to the City for City
<br />use, operation, and maintenance at $1.00 per year in each case.

<br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor and the Clerk
<br />of the Council are hereby authorized and directed to execute those
<br />certain three deeds: the first, conveying property bounded on the
<br />east by Flower Street, on the north and the south, respectively, by
<br />Eighth and Sixth Streets, and on the west by a line parallel with
<br />Shelton Street at one lot depth easterly thereof; the second, bounded
<br />on the east by Ross Street, on the north ang south, respectively, by
<br />Eighth and Sixth Streets, and on the west by a line which is parallel
<br />to and distant westerly from the west property line of Ross Street,
<br />412 feet, more or less; and the third, twelve lots, acquired as
<br />thirteen parcels, scattered in a four-block area bounded on the east
<br />by Ross Street, on the south by Fourth Street, on the west by Patton
<br />Street, and on the north by Sixth Street.

<br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the Mayor and the Clerk of the
<br />Council are hereby authorized and directed to execute those certain
<br />three Civic Center Leases for and on behalf of the City whereunder
<br />the City is taking, as lessee, from the Orange County Civic Center
<br />Authority exactly the same property that was conveyed by the three
<br />grant deeds hereinabove referred to.
<br />
<br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the Clerk of the Council is
<br />directed to file copies of said deeds and copies of said Leases with
<br />this Resolution and to deliver a certified copy of this Resolution,
<br />together with said three deeds and said three Leases, when executed
<br />by the City, to the Orange County Civic Center Authority for execution
<br />by it, recording of said deeds, and return to City of executed copies
<br />of said Leases.
