RESOLUTION 66-84 ORDERING VACATION OF OLIVE STREET,
<br />BETWEEN FOURTH STREET AND SIXTH STREET, AND FIFTH
<br />STREET, BETWEEN FLOWER STREET AND A POINT 300 FEET
<br />WEST OF THE CENTER LINE OF OLIVE STREET
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, on recommendation of the Planning Commission and the
<br />Department of Public Works, Resolution 66-71 was adopted giving notice
<br />of intention to vacate street right of way,herein described, to comply
<br />with the Civic Center Agreement for the vacation of certain street
<br />rights of way, and giving notice of public hearing thereon; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, said public hearing was duly held on both published
<br />and posted notices as required by law and, after hearing, the City
<br />Council determined that said right of way should be vacated.
<br />
<br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the
<br />City of Santa Ana hereby finds that certain street right of way
<br />known as Olive Street, between Fourth and Sixth Streets, and as
<br />Fifth Street, between Flower Street and a point 300 feet west of the
<br />center line of Olive Street, is unnecessary for present or prospective
<br />street purposes and does hereby make its order abandoning and vacating
<br />for street purposes those portions of Fifth and Olive Streets in the
<br />Civic Center area in the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State
<br />of California, described as:
<br />
<br />That portion of Olive Street bounded Northerly by the Southerly
<br />line of Sixth Street and bounded Southerly by a line parallel
<br />with and 52.00 feet Northerly, measured at right angles, from
<br />the center line of Fourth Street as said Streets are shown on
<br />the Corrected Map of Blocks L, M, N, O and P of the Ross
<br />Addition to Santa Ana as recorded in Book 1, page 45, Records of
<br />Surveys, in the office of the County Recorder of Orange County,
<br />California.

<br />That portion of Fifth Street bounded Easterly by a line parallel
<br />with and 60.00 feet Westerly, measured at right angles from the
<br />center line of Flower Street as said street is shown on a map
<br />recorded in Book 85, page 2, Records of Surveys, in the office
<br />of the County Recorder of Orange County, California; and bounded
<br />Westerly by a line parallel with and 300.08 feet Westerly,
<br />measured at right angles, from the center line of Olive Street.

<br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
<br />Ana at its regular meeting held on the 6t~ day of June, ~1966.
