RESOLUTION 66-87 ACCEPTING DEEDS WHERE THE CITY
<br />IS PAYING A CASH CONSIDERATION
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, CARMEN NAVARRO, STEVEN J. NAVARRO, LLOYD NAVARRO,
<br />ELEANOR NAVARRO, LOUISE GILL, GERALDINE RYAN and REBECCA NAVARRO as
<br />guardian of the Person and Estate of Lydia Navarro, an incompetent
<br />person, have executed a deed dated May 9, 1966, conveying to the
<br />City an easement for street purposes on the north side of Eighth
<br />Street, east of Raitt Street, in consideration of the sum of $745.00
<br />and certain remedial work to be done by the City; said transaction
<br />is to be handled through Escrow No. 870510-hrb with First American
<br />Title Insurance & Trust Company, Santa Ana, California; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, MICHAEL L. GARCIA and LUCILLE GARCIA have executed a
<br />deed dated May 27, 1966, conveying easements for street purposes on
<br />the south side of Eighth Street and the east side of Fairview Street,
<br />in consideration of the sum of $3,415.00 and certain remedial work
<br />to be done by the City; said transaction is to be handled through
<br />Escrow No. 874002-hrb with First American Title Insurance & Trust
<br />Company, Santa Ana, California; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, MICHAEL L. GARCIA and LUCILLE GARCIA have executed a
<br />deed dated May 27, 1966, conveying an easement for street purposes on
<br />the south side of Eighth Street, east of Fairview Street, in con-
<br />sideration of the sum of $1,700.00 and certain remedial work to be
<br />done by the City; said transaction is to be handled through Escrow
<br />No. 874018-hrb with First American Title Insurance & Trust Company,
<br />Santa Ana, California; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, WILLIAM O. WEINREIS and GLORIA C. WEINREIS have
<br />executed a deed dated May 18, 1966, conveying an easement for street
<br />purposes on the south side of Eighth Street, west of Pacific Avenue,
<br />in consideration of the sum of $1,980.00 and certain remedial work
<br />to be done by the City; said transaction is to be handled through
<br />Escrow No. 874428-hrb with First American Title Insurance & Trust
<br />Company, Santa Ana, California;
<br />
<br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor is hereby
<br />authorized to sign the Escrow instructions; that the City of Santa
<br />Ana accepts said deeds, and Carl J. Thornton, the City's designated
<br />agent, is directed to place his Certificate of Acceptance on said
<br />deeds.

<br />Ana at its regular meeting held on the 6th day of June, 1966.
