RESOLUTION 66-91 ACCEPTING DEEDS WHERE THE
<br />CITY IS PAYING NO CASH CONSIDERATION
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, CLARENCE C. HUMPHRIES, LORENE HUMPHRIES, FRANCIS W.
<br />HUMPHRIES, and ELBERTA L. HUMPHRIES, and GILBERT K. RANNEY as Executor
<br />of the Estate of K. W. RANNEY, deceased, have executed a deed dated
<br />June 1, 1966, conveying to the City of Santa Ana an easement for
<br />street purposes on the north side of McFadden Avenue, west of Harbor
<br />Boulevard; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, C. W. HESTER, ROBERT F. BEAUCHAMP, and ARTHOR E..
<br />SVENDSEN have executed a deed dated May 5, 1966, conveying to the
<br />City of Santa Ana easements for street purposes for Central Avenue,
<br />west of Bristol Street; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, LONG BEACH LEASING CORPORATION, a California
<br />corporation, has executed a deed dated May 23, 1966, conveying to City
<br />vehicular access rights on the south side of Warner Avenue, 209 feet
<br />west of Fairview Street; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, ORANGE COUNTY FLOOD CONTROL DISTRICT, a body corporate
<br />and politic, has executed a deed dated May 17, 1966, conveying to
<br />the City of Santa Ana an easement for street purposes on the north
<br />side of SegerstrOm Street at the F-2 Channel; and
<br />
<br /> WHEP~F21S, ARTHUR C. DAVIS and VIRGINIA H. DAVIS have executed
<br />a deed dated June 10, 1966, conveying to the City an easement, for
<br />street purposes on the east side of Grand Avenue, 296 feet south of
<br />Chestnut Avenue; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, S. B. EDWARDS and LILLIAN M. EDWARDS, have executed
<br />a deed dated May 20, 1966, conveying to the City an easement for
<br />street purposes and a spandrel shaped parcel of land at the northwest
<br />corner of Seventeenth Street and Baker Street; said transaction is
<br />with no cash consideration, the consideration being that the city
<br />will do, or have done, all work necessary in re the widening of
<br />streets at City's expense as set forth in Escrow NO.52733-C (revised)
<br />with Security Title Insurance Company, Santa Ana, California; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, all of said deeds are without cash consideration
<br />being paid to said grantors by the City.
<br />
<br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor is hereby
<br />authorized to sign the Escrow instructions; that the City of Santa
<br />Ana accepts said deeds, and Carl J. Thornton, the City's designated
<br />agent, is directed to place his Certificate of Acceptance on said deeds.

<br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
<br />Ana at its regular meeting held on the 20th day of June, 1966.
