<br />with said Westerly right of way line of the former Newbert
<br />Protection District, having a radius of 11,659.20 feet; thence
<br />Southwesterly along said curve, along said City boundary, and along
<br />said Easterly right of way line, through a central angle of
<br />3° 34' 39", an arc distance of 703.00 feet, more or less, to an
<br />angle point in said City boundary and to the Northwest corner of
<br />the "Sadd Annex" to the City of Santa Ana as adopted by Santa Ana
<br />City Ordinance NS-66; thence departing from said "Fifth Street and
<br />Santa Ana River S.E. Annex" Southwesterly along said curve, along
<br />said City boundary, and alon~ said Easterly ~ight of way line,
<br />through a central angle of 3 36' 55", an arc distance of 710.45
<br />feet, more or less, to a point on the center line of First Street
<br />and to the South west corner of City Ordinance NS-66, said point also
<br />being the Northwest corner of the "Sullivan and Edinger Annex" to
<br />the City of Santa Ana as adopted by Santa Ana City Ordinance NS-366;
<br />thence departing from said "Sadd Annex" Southwesterly along said
<br />curve, along said City boundary, and along said Easterly right of
<br />way line, through a central angle of 10° 03' 58", an arc distance
<br />of 1,978.09 feet, more or less, to a tangent line; thence South
<br />9° 19' 01" West along said City boundary and along said Easterly
<br />right of way line, 1296.00 feet, to the beginning of a tangent
<br />curve concsve Northwesterly and having a radius of 23,118.23 feet;
<br />thence Southwesterly along said curve, along said City boundary, and
<br />along said Easterly right of way line, through a central angle of
<br />4° 53~ 42" an arc distance of 1,975.09 feet, more or less, to a
<br />point on a non-tangent line; thence South 16° 52' 55" West along
<br />said City boundary and along said Easterly right of way line, a
<br />distance of 1,008.41 feet to an angle point; thence departing
<br />from said existing City boundary and from said Easterly right of
<br />way line, North 73° 17' 17" West 350.00 feet to said Westerly
<br />right of way line of the former Newbert Protection District Channel
<br />for the Santa Ana River to an angle point; thence North 14° 01' 06"
<br />East 202.06 feet, more or less, along said Westerly right of way
<br />line to said Southeast corner of the "Harbor and Edinger N.E. Annex"
<br />and to the point of beginning.

<br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That "SANTA ANA RIVER SOUTH OF FIFTH
<br />STREET ANNEX" is hereby designated asan appropriate name by which
<br />said territory shall be known for the purpose of this annexation.
<br />
<br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That notice is hereby given that
<br />August 15, 1966, at the hour of 7:30 P.M. in the Council Chambers,
<br />City Hall, Third and Main Streets, Santa Ana, California, is the time
<br />and place fixed at which said Council will hear written protests
<br />against this annexation made by any person owning property within
<br />said territory. At any time prior to the final adjournment of the
<br />hearing on protests any owner of property within the territory may
<br />file written protest against this annexation. The protest shall
<br />state the name of the owner of the property affected and the street
<br />address or other description of the property sufficient to identify
<br />it on the last equalized assessment roll, all as provided for in
<br />California Goverr~ent Code Section 35312.
