RESOLUTION 66-132 CLOSING PARTON STREET <br />BETWEEN WALNUT AND PINE STREETS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Patton Street between Walnut Street and Pine Street <br />dissects the campus of the Santa Aha High School; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, through traffic on Parton Street on the campus of the <br />Santa Aha High School endangers the safety of high school students <br />and personnel when traversing the campus; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this patently hazardous condition can be corrected <br />by eliminating such through traffic in the area of the high school; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Santa Ana Unified <br />and Junior College District may cause to be erected permanent <br />barricades across Parton Street parallel to and at the north curb <br />line of Pine Street and parallel to and at the south curb line of <br />Walnut Street for the purpose of effecting the closure of Patton <br />Street between Walnut and Pine Streets, such closure to be permanent <br />unless ordered by resolution of this body to be opened. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the Director of Public Works <br />shall erect or cause to be erected appropriate signs giving notice <br />of such street closure. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That by this Resolution the City of <br />Santa Ana does not surrender its title or any portion thereof in or to <br />said street. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa <br />Ana at its regular meeting held on the ~ day of October, 1966. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> // VICE MAYOR <br />CLERK OF THE COUNCIL <br /> <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA) <br />COUNTY OF ORANGE ) <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA ) <br /> <br />SS <br /> <br /> I, DORIS M.
