RESOLUTION 66-133 FIXING THE SALARY OF THE <br />CITY MANAGER OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, similarly to all other salaries, those of city <br />managers have continued to increase over the years throughout the <br />State of California; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana is now paying its City Manager <br />at a rate below that prevalent in the State for managers of cities <br />of comparable size; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Manager of the City of Santa Ana is of a <br />caliber to warrant payment well above the prevailing rate; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that the salary of <br />the City Manager should be increased to bring it into the range of <br />currently prevalent salaries for city managers of cities of comparable <br />size; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the salary for the <br />position of City Manager of Santa Ana, California, is hereby fixed <br />and established at $.2,350.00 per month. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That said salary shall be paid in the <br />same manner and at the same time as other monthly salaries in the <br />City are paid, and that said new salary rate shall take effect and <br />be paid from the 1st day of September, 1966. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa <br />Ana at its regular meeting held on the 19th day of September, 1966. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />CLRRK OF THE COUNCIL <br /> <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA) <br />COUNTY OF ORANGE ) <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA ) <br /> <br />SS <br /> <br /> I, DORIS M.
