RESOLUTION 66-150 ACCEPTING DEEDS WHERE THE CITY <br />IS PAYING A CASH CONSIDERATION <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, ANTHONY F. PLETTINCK and ELZA PLETTINCK have <br />executed a deed dated October 29, 1966, granting to the City of <br />Santa Ana an easement for street purposes at the southeast corner <br />of Spurgeon Street and Washington Avenue in consideration of the <br />sum of $700.00 and the removal of three palm trees now in the <br />easement being acquired; said transaction is to be handled through <br />Escrow No. 874745-HRB with First American Title Insurance & Trust <br />Company, Santa Aha, California; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, GUILLERMO H. CASARES and ISABEL G. CASARES, husband <br />and wife, and GLORIA M. CASARES, their daughter, have executed a <br />deed dated May 26, 1966, granting to the City of Santa Ana an <br />easement for street purposes at the southeast corner of Townsend and <br />Eighth Streets in consideration of the sum of $175.00 and certain <br />remedial work to he done at the expense of the .City of Santa Aha; <br />said transaction is to be handled through Escrow No. 873649-hrb with <br />First American Title Insurance & Trust Company, Santa Aha, California; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, KARL D. SMITH, as Guardian of the Estate of Charles <br />Smith, Incompetent, has executed a Guardian's Deed dated October 28, <br />1966, granting to the City of Santa Ana a parcel of real property at <br />the north side of Sixth Street, west of Olive Street, for Civic <br />Center purposes, in consideration of the sum of $5,500.00; said <br />transaction is to be handled through Escrow No. 874277-HL with <br />First American Title Insurance & Trust Company, Santa Ana, California; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor is hereby <br />authorized to sign the escrow instructions; that the City of Santa <br />Aha accepts said deeds, and the City's designated agent, Carl J. <br />Thornton, is directed to place his Certificate of Acceptance on said <br />deeds. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa <br />Aha at its regular meeting held on the 7th day of November, 1966. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />CLERK OF THE COUNCIL <br /> <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA) <br />COUNTY OF ORANGE ) SS <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA ~ <br /> <br /> I, DORIS M.
