RESOLUTION 66-161 ACCEPTING A DEED FROM THE <br />COUNTY OF ORANGE FOR WHICH THE CITY OF SANTA <br />ANA IS PAYING NO CASH CONSIDERATION; AND <br />ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED FOR WHICH THE CITY IS <br />PAYING NO CASH CONSIDERATION; AND AUTHORIZING <br />EXECUTION OF QUITCLAIM DEED BY THE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the COUNTY OF ORANGE, a body corporate and politic, has <br />executed an easement deed dated November 22, 1966, conveying to the <br />City a perpetual easement and right of way for street and highway <br />purposes on the west side of Bristol Street,north of the frontage road, <br />and north of Memory Lane; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, STEPHEN W. BRADFORD and BERNADOM. YORBA, and MARGARET M. <br />BRADFORD, and MARGARET L. YORBA, their wives, have executed a deed <br />dated May 2, 1966, conveying to the City an easement for street purposes <br />and a spandrel shaped parcel of land on the west side of Bristol Street, <br />and the north side of the frontage road, north of Memory Lane; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, said deeds are without a cash consideration being paid <br />to said grantors by the City of Santa Ana. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of Santa Ana <br />accepts said deeds and Carl J. Thornton, the City's designated agent, <br />is directed to place his Certificate of Acceptance on said deeds; <br /> <br /> AND, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: In order to complete the negotiated <br />transaction, the Mayor and the Clerk of the Council are hereby <br />authorized and directed to execute a deed quitclaiming to STEPHEN W. <br />BRADFORD and BERNADO M. YORBA, the City's interest in and to the <br />following described real property in the City of Santa Ana, County of <br />Orange, State of California: <br /> <br /> That portion of Lots 17 and 28 of Potts, Borden and Sidwell <br />Tract, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 4~ page 624 of Mis- <br />cellaneous Maps Records of Los Angeles County, California, <br />described as follows: <br /> <br /> Beginning at a point on the Easterly line of said Lot 28, said <br />point being the Northwest corner of Lot 17 of said Ports, Borden <br />and Sidwell Tract; thence North 84° 42' 23" West 323.41 feet to a <br />non-tangent curve concave Easterly, having a radius of 450.00 feet; <br />thence along said last mentioned curve Southerly from a tangent <br />which bears South 16° 44' 12" West, through an angle of 7° 48' <br />and arc distance of 61.31 feet to a tangent curve; thence South- <br />easterly along said curve having a radius of 120.00 feet through <br />an angle of 97° 46' 28", an arc distance of 204.78 feet; thence <br />South 88° 50' 38" East to a point in said Easterly line of Lot 28, <br />said point being the Southwesterly corner of the land described <br />in quitclaim deed to Stephen W. Bradford and others, recorded <br />March 27, 1965 in Book 7461, page 868 of Official Records; thence <br />along the boundary of said land the following courses: South 88° <br />50' 38" East 6.27 feet to a tangent curve concave Northerly and <br />having a radius of 17.00 feet; thence Easterly along said curve <br />through a central angle of lO 24' 01" an arc distance of 0.42 feet <br />to a point on a non-tangent curve concave Southeasterly and having <br />a radius of 1460.00 feet, said curve being concentric with the <br />centerline of Bristol Street, a radial of last said curve to said <br />point bears North 66° 15' 52" West; thence Northeasterly along <br />last said curve through a central angle of 7° 35' 15", an arc <br />distance of 193.34 feet to a point in the North line of said Lot 17, <br />a radial to said point bears North 58° 40' 37" West; thence North <br />89° 02' 02" West along said North line 60.19 feet to the point of <br />beginning. <br /> <br /> <br />
