RESOLUTION 66-161 ACCEPTING A DEED FROM THE COUNTY OF ORANGE FOR WHICH THE CITY OF SANTA ANA IS PAYING NO CASH CONSIDERATION; AND ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED FOR WHICH THE CITY IS PAYING NO CASH CONSIDERATION; AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF QUITCLAIM DEED BY THE CITY OF SANTA ANA WHEREAS, the COUNTY OF ORANGE, a body corporate and politic, has executed an easement deed dated November 22, 1966, conveying to the City a perpetual easement and right of way for street and highway purposes on the west side of Bristol Street,north of the frontage road, and north of Memory Lane; and WHEREAS, STEPHEN W. BRADFORD and BERNADOM. YORBA, and MARGARET M. BRADFORD, and MARGARET L. YORBA, their wives, have executed a deed dated May 2, 1966, conveying to the City an easement for street purposes and a spandrel shaped parcel of land on the west side of Bristol Street, and the north side of the frontage road, north of Memory Lane; and WHEREAS, said deeds are without a cash consideration being paid to said grantors by the City of Santa Ana. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of Santa Ana accepts said deeds and Carl J. Thornton, the City's designated agent, is directed to place his Certificate of Acceptance on said deeds; AND, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: In order to complete the negotiated transaction, the Mayor and the Clerk of the Council are hereby authorized and directed to execute a deed quitclaiming to STEPHEN W. BRADFORD and BERNADO M. YORBA, the City's interest in and to the following described real property in the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of California: That portion of Lots 17 and 28 of Potts, Borden and Sidwell Tract, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 4~ page 624 of Mis- cellaneous Maps Records of Los Angeles County, California, described as follows: Beginning at a point on the Easterly line of said Lot 28, said point being the Northwest corner of Lot 17 of said Ports, Borden and Sidwell Tract; thence North 84° 42' 23" West 323.41 feet to a non-tangent curve concave Easterly, having a radius of 450.00 feet; thence along said last mentioned curve Southerly from a tangent which bears South 16° 44' 12" West, through an angle of 7° 48' and arc distance of 61.31 feet to a tangent curve; thence South- easterly along said curve having a radius of 120.00 feet through an angle of 97° 46' 28", an arc distance of 204.78 feet; thence South 88° 50' 38" East to a point in said Easterly line of Lot 28, said point being the Southwesterly corner of the land described in quitclaim deed to Stephen W. Bradford and others, recorded March 27, 1965 in Book 7461, page 868 of Official Records; thence along the boundary of said land the following courses: South 88° 50' 38" East 6.27 feet to a tangent curve concave Northerly and having a radius of 17.00 feet; thence Easterly along said curve through a central angle of lO 24' 01" an arc distance of 0.42 feet to a point on a non-tangent curve concave Southeasterly and having a radius of 1460.00 feet, said curve being concentric with the centerline of Bristol Street, a radial of last said curve to said point bears North 66° 15' 52" West; thence Northeasterly along last said curve through a central angle of 7° 35' 15", an arc distance of 193.34 feet to a point in the North line of said Lot 17, a radial to said point bears North 58° 40' 37" West; thence North 89° 02' 02" West along said North line 60.19 feet to the point of beginning.
