AGREEMENT AGREEMENT FOR THE PURCHASE BY THE CITY OF SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA~ OF THE STATE'S TITLE TO TAX DEEDED PROPERTY WITHIN SAID CITY AS PROVIDED BY DIVISION I, PART 6~ CHAPTER 8, OF THE REVENUE AND TAXATION CODE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA THIS AGREEMENT, made the /~--~/~day of /~ ~/ , 1967, by and between the BOARD OF SUPERqISORS of the COUNTY OF ORANGE, State of California, and the CITY OF SANTA ANA, a municipal corporation in the State of California, subject to the approval of the State Controller, pursuant to the provisions of Division I, Part 6, Chapter 8, of the Revenue and Taxation Code, WI TNE S SE TH : WHEREAS, there is situated in the City of Santa Ana certain property which is deeded to ~he State of California for delinquent taxes; and WHEREAS, the deeds to the State for taxes include taxes %evied by the City of Santa Aqa, the taxes of which are collected b~ the County officers; NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY MUTUALLY AGREED, as 'follows: 1. That as provided in Section 3800 of the Revenue and Taxation Code, the cost of giving the notice of this Agreement shall be paid by the City of Santa Ana; 2. That the Board of Supervisors of the County of Orange agrees to sell to the City of Santa Ana all or any portion of the property described in EXHIBIT A, attached hereto and made a part hereof, which shall not have been redeemed as provided in the Revenue and TaxatiOh Code, upon payment by said City to the tax collector of said County the sum set forth in said Exhibit after the description of the property and designated "PURCHASE PRICE", within ten (10) days after this Agreement becomes effective; 3. That as provided by Section 3808 of the Revenue and Taxation Code of the State of California, the City will pay the "PURCHASE PRICE" to the County tax collector and the City. will not share in the distri- bution of the payment. -1-
