P~ESOLUTION NO. 67-72 OF THE CITY <br />COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />EXPRESSING SUPPORT OF LOS ANGELES <br />CITY COUNCIL RESOLUTION REGARDING <br />LOCAL CONTROL OF ZONING AND ATTENDANT <br />MATTERS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Ana has been <br />furnished a copy of the attached Resolution of the City Council <br />of the City of Los Angeles; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, to the extent the said Resolution refers to general <br />principles and policies, this Council is in agreement; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Council strongly advocates principles of <br />"home rule" and is opposed to all efforts to diminish this concept; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of <br />the City of Santa Ana supports the position taken by the City Council <br />of the City of Los Angeles, as reflected in the attached Resolution, <br />pertaining to the maintenance of zoning and attendant matters as <br />local functions. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That copies of this Resolution be <br />furnished to the City of Los Angeles, the League of California Cities, <br />Orange County Assemblymen and State Senators, and to Governor <br />Ronald Reagan. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa <br />Ana at its regular meeting held on the 15th day of May, 1967. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />CLERK OF THE COUNCIL <br /> <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA) <br />COUNTY OF ORANGE ) <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA ) <br /> <br />SS <br /> <br /> I, DORIS M.
