RESOLUTION 67-76 AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF DEED TO <br />W. A. TEDFORD kND DONNA R. TEDFOP~D, ONLY BIDDERS <br />ON SALE OF SURPLUS PROPERTY <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, heretofore the City published notice of sale of <br />surplus real property, hereinbelow described, at public auction <br />to be held at a regular mee~ng of the City Council on May 15, 1967, <br />and at said time and place said property was sold to W. A. TEDFORD <br />and DONNA R. TEDFORD, the only bidders for the same, in consideration <br />of the sum of $35,000, $4,000 paid on acceptance of said bid and the <br />balance of the purchase price to be paid through escrow; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Escrow No. 870 has now been opened with Western Title <br />Guaranty Company, Santa Ana, California, <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor is hereby <br />authorized to sign the Escrow instructions, and the Mayor and the <br />Clerk of the Council are hereby authorized and directed to execute <br />a deed granting to W. A. TEDFORD and DONNA R. TEDFORD, husband and <br />wife, as community property, as to an undivided one-half interest, <br />and TED ORDEN and HEDY 0P~DEN, husband and wife, as community property, <br />as to an undivided one-half interest, all that real property situated <br />in the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of California, <br />described as: <br /> <br />That portion of Lots 25, 26 and 27 of Tract No. 662, as per map <br />recorded in Book 24, Page 17, Miscellaneous Maps, records of said <br />Orange County, included within the following described property: <br /> <br />Commencing at the intersection of the center lines of Bristol <br />Street and Eighth Street, as shown on said map of Tract No. 662, <br />and running thence due south along said center line of Bristol <br />Street 114.17 feet to a point; thence south 88° 56' 00" west, a <br />distance of 50.00 feet to the true point of beginning; thence <br />south 88° 56' 00" west 105.78 feet to the west line of said <br />Lot 26; thence south 89" 02' 00" west 25.41 feet; thence north <br />0" 48' 22" west 72.12 feet to a point on a non tangent curve <br />concave southerly having a radius of 960.00 feet, the radial to <br />said curve at said point bears north 2" 37' 23" east; thence <br />easterly along said curve through a central angle of 3" 19' 55" an <br />arc distance of 55.83 feet to a point of reverse curvature with a <br />curve concave northerly having a radius of 1040.00 feet; thence <br />easterly along said curve through a central angle of 2° 55' 14" an <br />arc distance of 53.01 feet to a point of reverse curvature with a <br />curve concave southwesterly, having a radius of 25.00 feet; thence <br />southeasterly along said curve through a central angle of 86" 57' 56" <br />an arc distance of 37.95 feet to a tangent line that is parallel <br />with and 50.00 feet westerly, measured at right angles, from said <br />center line of Bristol Street; thence due south along said parallel <br />line 36.42 feet to the true point of beginning. <br /> <br />and place the same in the above-referenced escrow for delivery to <br />said grantees. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />CLERK OF THE COUNCIL <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa <br />Ana at its regular meeting held on the 5th day of June, 1967. <br /> <br /> <br />
