RESOLUTION 67-106 ACCEPTING DEEDS WHERE <br />THE CITY IS PAYING A CASH CONSIDERATION <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, HELEN E. APPLEBURy, has executed a deed dated <br />June 16, 1967, conveying to the City an easement for sewer purposes <br />on Huylar's Lane, north of Fifth Street, in consideration of the <br />sum of $1,600.00 and certain remedial work to be done by the City <br />at said location; said transaction to be handled through Escrow <br />No. 875012-HL with the First American Title Insurance and Trust <br />Company, Santa Ana, California; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, FERRELL C. RYAN and BETTY VIRGINIA RYAN have <br />executed a deed dated June 17, 1967, conveying to the City an <br />easement for sewer purposes 600' south of Hazard Avenue and west <br />of Morse Drive, in consideration of the sum of $250.00 and certain <br />remedial work to be done by the City at said location; said trans- <br />action to be handled through Escrow No. 875017-HL with the First <br />American Title Insurance and Trust Company, Santa Aha, California; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, KENNETH M. KHUZEL and KATHLEENA. KRUZEL, have <br />executed a deed dated June 17, 1967, conveying to the City an <br />easement for sewer purposes 600' south of Hazard Avenue and west <br />of Morse Drive, in consideration of the sum of $305.00 and certain <br />remedial work to be done by the City at said location, said trans- <br />action to be handled through Escrow No. 875019-HL with the First <br />American Title Insurance and Trust Company, Santa Ana, California; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, PAUL C. PHILLIPS, has executed a deed dated May 8, <br />1967, conveying to the City a parcel of real property and an easement <br />for street purposes on the north side of First Street and west of <br />Baker Street, in consideration of the sum of $11,945.00; said trans- <br />action to be handled through Escrow No. 874918-HRB with the First <br />American Title Insurance and Trust Company, Santa Ana, California; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, HELEN H. RANDALL WIGHT and ELEANOR M. RANDALL GRAND, <br />have executed deeds dated January 16, 1967 and June 26, 1967 <br />respectively conveying to the City easements for street purposes on <br />the north side of Seventeenth Street and the west side of Santiago <br />Street, in consideration of the sum of $22,215.00, said transaction <br />to be handled through Escrow No. 874474-HRB with the First American <br />Title Insurance and Trust Company, Santa Ana, California. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor is hereby <br />authorized to sign the escrow instructions; that the City of Santa <br />Ana accepts said deeds, and Carl J. Thornton, the City's designated <br />agent, is directed to place his Certificate of Acceptance on said <br />deeds. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of <br />Santa Ana at its regular meeting held on the 3rd day of July, 1967. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />CLERK OF THE COUNCIL <br /> <br /> <br />
