RESOLUTION NO. ~ <br /> <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING <br />A GROUP OF MUNICIPAL IMPROVEMENTS AS <br />CONSTITUTING A CITY PLAN PURSUANT TO <br />THE PROVISIONS OF TITLE 4, DIVISION 4, <br />CHAPTER 4, ARTICLE 1 OF THE GOVERNMENT <br />CODE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this City Council proposes to call <br />a special bond election within the City of Santa Ana <br />to submit to the voters the question of whether or not <br />bonded indebtedness should be incurred for the following <br />purpose: <br /> <br />BOND PROPOSITION: <br /> <br /> To adopt a Program for Progress by taking <br />urgent, critical, preventive measures for the <br />protection of health, safety, general welfare <br />and property of the citizens by repairing, <br />constr~cting and enlarging the city's network <br />of sewers and storm drains, for improving and <br />increasing fire protection and supervision in <br />critical areas, for effecting greater economies <br />in administrative efficiency for buildings, <br />improvements and services, for the purpose of <br />repairing and improving city streets, sidewalks <br />and thoroughfares as a means of providing in- <br />creased safety and convenience for pedestrians <br />and vehicular traffic, including repair, replace- <br />ment, relocation and widening of streets in areas <br />throughout the city, to install new and repair or <br />replace older street lighting and related facili- <br />ties as needed or required, to develop and expand <br />more neighborhood parks and recreational services, <br />improvement of existing park sites and the install- <br />ing of needed or required services, buildings and <br />essential equipment and all lands and facilities <br />necessary for the foregoing purposes which <br />constitute a city plan as approved by the Planning <br />Commission and the City Council, shall the city <br />incur a bonded indebtedness in the principal <br />amount of Twenty-Five Million Dollars ($25,000,000)? <br /> <br /> <br />
