RESOLUTION 67-145 AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br />OF DEEDS FOR THE SkLE OF SURPLUS PROPERTY <br />FOR A CASH CONSIDERkTION <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, heretofore the City published notice of sale of <br />surplus real property, hereinbelow described, at public auction <br />to be held at a regular meeting of the City Council on July 3, 1967, <br />and at said time and place said property was sold to PACIFIC <br />SOUTHWESTERN PROPERTIES, the only bidders for the same, in <br />consideration of the sum of $62,495.40, $6,249.54 paid on acceptance <br />of said bid and the balance of the purchase price to be paid <br />throught Escrow No. 10-1068-A opened with Trans-State Title Company, <br />Beverly Hills, California; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, heretofore the City published notice of sale of <br />surplus real property, hereinbelow described, at public auction <br />to be held at a regular meeting of the City Council on July 17,1967, <br />and at said time and place said property was sold to SOUTHERN <br />SERVICE COMPANY, a California corporation, the only bidders for the <br />same, in consideration of the sum $15,000.00, $1,500.00 paid on <br />acceptance of said bid and the balance of the purchase price to be <br />paid through Escrow No. 454586-ET opened with Title Insurance and <br />Trust Company, Santa Ana, California. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor is hereby <br />authorized to sign the Escrow instructions, and the Mayor and the <br />Clerk of the Council are hereby authorized and directed to execute <br />a deed granting to PACIFIC SOUTHWESTERN PROPERTIES, all that real <br />property situated in the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State <br />of California, described as: <br /> <br />PARCEL 1 <br /> <br />That portion of Lot 2 of Tract No. 33, in the City of Santa <br />Ana, as shown on a map thereof, recorded in Book 9, page 31, <br />Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, California, <br />bounded and described as follows: <br /> <br />Beginning at a point in the Southerly line of Eighth Street <br />(formerly Hickey Street), distant thereon 250 feet Easterly <br />from the Easterly line of Bristol Street, as shown on said <br />map, (said point also being distant 240 feet Easterly from the <br />Easterly line of the strip of land, 10 feet wide, granted to <br />the City of Santa Ana, for street purposes, by deed dated <br />December 27, 1923, and filed May 26, 1924, as document No. 4737, <br />in the office of the Registrar of Titles of said Orange County); <br />running thence South 120 feet; thence East 145 feet; thence <br />North 120 feet to said Southerly line of Eighth Street; thence <br />Westerly along said line of Eighth Street, 145 feet to the POINT <br />OF BEGINNING. <br /> <br />Excepting therefrom the Northerly 30 feet. <br /> <br />Reserving all vehicular access rights to Eighth Street from the <br />land above described. <br /> <br />PARCEL 2 <br /> <br />Ail that certain'real property situated in the County of Orange, <br />State of California, described as follows: <br /> <br />The Northerly 122.00 feet of the Westerly 64.00 feet of the <br />Northerly 230.00 feet of the Easterly 189.00 feet of Lot 2 <br />of Tract 33, in the City of Santa Ana, as shown on a map <br />thereof, recorded in Book 9, page 31, Miscellaneous Maps, <br />records of said Orange County, described as follows: <br /> <br /> <br />
