RESOLUTION 68-2 ACCEPTING DEEDS FOR WHICH THE
<br />CITY IS PAYING NO CASH CONSIDERATION
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, PARKWOOD HOMES, a general Partnership, and L. M.
<br />STRUCK AND M. W. IMMELL, Trustees of Marilyn Hester, Janet Hester
<br />and Charlene Hester Trusts, Doing Business as Parkwood Development
<br />Company, a Joint Venture, have executed a deed dated December 12,
<br />1967, granting to the City of Santa Ana a temporary construction
<br />easement north of Seventeenth Street and west of Tustin Avenue, said
<br />temporary easement to be terminated not later than April 1, 1968;
<br />and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, FIRST ASSEMBLY OF GOD OF SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA, a
<br />religious corporation, also known as TH~ FIRST ASSEMBLY OF GOD CHURCH
<br />OF SANTA ANA, has executed a deed dated December 18, 1967, conveying
<br />to the City of Santa Ana easements for street purposes at the south-
<br />west corner of Santa Clara Avenue and Wright Street; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, RICHARD A. EMISON and ESSE S. EMISON, husband and
<br />wife, and MONA SUMMERS SMITH have executed a deed dated December 20,
<br />1967, conveying to the City of Santa Ana an easement for street
<br />purposes for Trotter Avenue, north of Edinger Avenue; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, FP~ANCES KNOTT, a widow, has executed a deed dated
<br />October 26, 1967, conveying to the City of Santa Ana an easement
<br />for street purposes at the northwest corner of Grand Avenue and
<br />Washington Place; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, the COUNTY OF OP~ANGE, a body corporate and politic,
<br />has executed a deed dated December 6, 1967, conveying to the City
<br />of Santa Ana an easement for street purposes on the west side of
<br />Flower Street and the north side of Fourth Street; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, all of said deeds are without a cash consideration
<br />being paid to said grantors by the City;
<br />
<br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: ~hat the City of Santa Ana
<br />accepts said deeds, and Carl J. Thornton, the City's designated agent,
<br />is directed to place his Certificate of Acceptance on said deeds.

<br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
<br />Ana at its regular meeting held on the 2nd day of Januar~oS~ ~
