RESOLUTION 68-15 AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF A <br />DEED FOR THE SALE OF SURPLUS PROPERTY TO <br />BRUCE A. WALLACE FOR A CASH CONSIDERATION <br />OF $5,590.0O <br /> <br /> W~EREAS, by action of the City Council on January 3, 1966, <br />certain real property located on the west side of King Street at <br />Tenth Street was declared to be surplus; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, heretofore, the City published a notice of sale of <br />said surplus real property, hereinbelow described, at public auction <br />to be held at a regular meeting of the City Council on December 18th, <br />1967, and at said time and place said property was sold to BRUCE A. <br />WALLACE, the highest bidder for the same, in consideration of the <br />sum of $5,590.00, $560.00 paid on acceptance of said bid and the <br />balance of the purchase price to be paid through Escrow No. 55421-C <br />opened with Security Title Insurance Company, Santa Ana, California; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEP~EFOP~E, BE IT P, ESOLVED: That the Mayor is hereby <br />authorized to sign the escrow instructions, and the Mayor and the <br />Clerk of the Council are hereby authorized and directed to execute <br />a deed granting to BRUCE A. WALLACE, a married man, as his sole and <br />separate property, all that real property in the City of Santa Ana, <br />County of Orange, State of California, described as: <br /> <br />Those portions of Lots 8 and 9 of lands of S. H. Finley, in the <br />City of Santa Ana, as shown on a licensed surveyor's map recorded <br />in Book 2, Page 9, Records of Surveys, in the office of the County <br />Recorder of Orange County, California, described as follows: <br /> <br />Commencing at the intersection of the center lines of King Street <br />and Tenth Street, as shown on a map of Tract No. 1960, recorded <br />in Book 126, Pages 20 and 21, Miscellaneous Maps, records of said <br />Orange County; thence North 27° 30' 00" East, along said center <br />line of King Street, a distance of 161.51 feet to the Northeast <br />corner of the land described in the deed to the City of Santa Ana <br />recorded May 1, 1961, in Book 5707, Page757, Official Records; <br />thence North 62° 30' 00" West along said Northeasterly line a <br />distance of 30.00 feet to the true point of beginning; thence <br />South 27° 30' 00" West along a line that is parallel with and <br />30.00 feet Northwesterly from said center line of King Street, a <br />distance of 111.75 feet to a tangent curve concave Easterly, <br />having a radius of 60.00 feet; thence Southerly along the arc of <br />said curve, through a central angle of 23" 33' 23", an arc distance <br />of 24.67 feet to a non-tangent line that is parallel with and <br />25.00 feet Northwesterly from said center line of King Street; <br />thence South 27° 30' 00" West, along said parallel line, a distance <br />of 163.89 feet to a point on a non-tangent curve, concave Westerly, <br />having a radius of 1050.00 feet, the radial to said curve at said <br />point bears North 81" 07' 40" West, said non-tangent curve being <br />the Easterly line of Fairview Street; thence Northerly along the <br />arc of said curve, through a central angle of 18* 35' 05", an arc <br />distance of 340.58 feet to a point on the Northeasterly line of <br />said land conveyed to the City of Santa Ana; thence South 62~ 30' <br />00" East along said Northeasterly line 153.77 feet to the true <br />point of beginning; <br /> <br />RESERVING all vehicular access rights to said Fairview Street <br />from the Westerly line of the above-described parcel; <br /> <br />and place the same in the above escrow for delivery to said grantee. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That there shall be filed concurrently <br />herewith an agreement between the City and Purchaser, for recording, <br />setting forth restrictions. <br /> <br />-1- <br /> <br /> <br />
