RESOLUTION 68-60 DECLARING THE ANNEXATION OF
<br />TERRITORY DESIGNATED "SANTA CLAi{A AVENUE AND
<br />NEWPORT F9F. RWAY WEST ANNEX" TO THE CITY OF
<br />SANTA ANA
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, the Local Agency Formation Commission of Orange
<br />County has approved a description of territory hereinbelow dontained
<br />and annexation of said territory to the City of Santa Ana, California;
<br />and
<br />
<br /> WHER/EAS, in accordance with the requirements of Government
<br />Code Section 54797.1, the Local Agency Formation Commission of Orange
<br />County has approved and authorized the City Council of the City of
<br />Santa Ana, California, to annex said territory without notice and
<br />hearing by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana;
<br />
<br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the
<br />City of Santa Ana, California, hereby finds and declares that said
<br />territory was uninhabited at the time of the adoption of this
<br />Resolution, and is contiguous to the City of Santa Ana; that all of
<br />the statements hereinabove are true and correct; and that said
<br />territory shall not be taxed to pay any indebtedness of the City
<br />existing at the time of this annexation.

<br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That all of the territory in the
<br />County of Orange, State of California, described as:
<br />
<br />Beginning at the Northeast corner of the Tustin and Seventeenth
<br />N.E. Annex to the City of Santa Ana, California, as established
<br />by Ordinance NS-468, said point being an angle point in the
<br />existing boundary of the City of Tustin, California, as estab-
<br />lished by Ordinance 145, said point being the Northeast corner
<br />of Lot 12, Tract 4749, as shown on a map thereof recorded in
<br />Book 167, Pages 43 and 44, Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange
<br />County, California; thence running South 89" 47' 00" West along
<br />the North line of said Tustin and Seventeenth N. E. Annex and along
<br />said City of Tustin boundary and along the North line of said
<br />Lot 12 in Tract 4749, a distance of 32.35 feet to the Southeast
<br />corner of the Santa Clara and Deodar S. Annex to the City of
<br />Santa Ana as established by Ordinance NS-606 and to the Southeast
<br />corner of Lot 15, Tract 4811, as shown on a map thereof recorded
<br />in Book 172, Pages 20 and 21, Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange
<br />County,California, and to an angle point in said City of Tustin
<br />boundary; thence running North 0" 53' 22" East along the East line
<br />of said Santa Clara and Deodar S. Annex, and along said City of
<br />Tustin boundary, and along the East line of said Tract 4811 a
<br />distance of 569.91 feet to the Southeast corner of the Santa Clara
<br />and Tustin N. E. Annex to the City of Santa Ana as established by
<br />Ordinance NS-682; thence continuing North 0~ 53' 22" East along the
<br />East line of said Santa Clara and Tustin N. E. Annex and along said
<br />City of Tustin boundary a distance of 750.30 feet to the Southeast
<br />corner of the North half of Lot 5, in Block B, of the A. B. Chapman
<br />Tract, as surveyed by Frank LeCouvreur in December 1870 and shown
<br />on a map thereof recorded in Book 102, Page 15, Miscellaneous Maps,
<br />records of said Orange County, and to an angle point in the Santa
<br />Clara and Tustin N. W. Annex to the city of Santa Ana as established
<br />by Ordinance NS-759; thence continuing North 0° 53' 22" East along
<br />the East line of said Santa Clara and Tustin N. W. Annex and along
<br />said City of Tustin boundary, a distance of 660.00 feet, more or
<br />less, to the Northwest corner of Lot 6, in Block B, of said
<br />A. B. Chapman Tract, said corner being the Southeast corner of
<br />Lot 16, Tract 2989, as shown on a map thereof recorded in Book 89,
<br />Page 1, Miscellaneous Maps, Records of said Orange County; thence
<br />departing said City of Santa Ana and City of Tustin boundaries and
<br />running South 88° 54' 09" East along the North line of said Lot 6,
