RESOLUTION 68-71 ACCEPTING DEEDS FOR WHICH
<br />THE CITY IS PAYING NO CASH CONSIDERATION
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, ROHRS INVESTMENT COMPANY, a limited partnership, has
<br />executed a deed dated April 19, 1968, conveying to the City of Santa
<br />Ana an easement for road and public utility purposes on the south 1/2
<br />of 21st Street, west of Grand Avenue, and granting vehicular access
<br />rights from 17th Street and from Grand Avenue; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, HOME LAND COMPANY, a partnership, has executed a deed
<br />dated April 24, 1968, conveying to the City of Santa Ana an easement
<br />for sewer purposes on the north side of Edinger Avenue, east of Maple
<br />Street; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, HARRy R. MARTIN, a married man, and JAMES L. WHITAKER,
<br />a married man, have executed a deed dated April 19, 1968, conveying
<br />to the City of Santa Ana an easement for slope purposes on the south
<br />side of St. Gertrude Place, west of Grand Avenue; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, Go L. Ao DEVELOPMENT COMPANY, a California corporation,
<br />has executed a deed dated April 25, 1968, conveying to the City of
<br />Santa Aha vehicular access rights to Segerstrom Avenue and Bristol
<br />Street; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, L & M DUNN, a partnership, and WETZEL & ASSOCIATES, a
<br />limited partnership, have executed a deed dated February 22, 1968,
<br />conveying to the City of Santa Ana an easement for street purposes on
<br />St. Andrew Place and Glenwood Place, east of Ritchey Street; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, L & M DUNN, a partnership, has executed a deed dated
<br />February 22, 1968, conveying to the City of Santa Ana an easement for
<br />storm drain purposes on the northwest side of the Newport Freeway,
<br />southeast of Glenwood Place; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, all of said deeds are without a cash consideration being
<br />paid to said grantors by the City.

<br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED= That the City of Santa Ana accepts~
<br />said deeds; that Carl J. Thornton, the City's designated agent, is herebyi
<br />directed to place his Certificate of Acceptance on said deeds.
<br />
<br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana I
<br />at its regular meeting held on the 6th day of May, 1968. I
