.AGREFl%I~NT FOR T~E PURCHASE BY THE CITY OF SANTA ARA, ,CALIFORIqIA, OF THE STATE'S TITLE TO TAX DEEDED PROPERTY ~WITHIN SAID CITY AS PROVIDED BY DIVISION I, PART 6, ~CHAPTER 8, OF THE REVENUE AND TAXATION CODE OF TH~ ~BTATE OF CALIFORNIA THI'8 AGREEMENT, made the ay of ~.~3~/~ , 1968, by and between t~e BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTS OF ORANGE, State of California, and the CITY OF SANTA ANA, a municipal corporation in the State of California, subject to the approval of the State Controller, pursuant ~) the provisions of Division I, Part 6, Chapter 8, of the Revenue axed Taxation Code, ~~ S S E T H WHEREAS, there is situated in the City of Santa Aha certain property Which is deeded to the State of California for delinquent taxes; and WI{~REAS, the deed to the State for taxes includes taxes levied by the City of Santa Aha, the taxes of which City are collected by ~e Count~ officers; NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY MUTUALLY AGREED, as follows: 1. That as provided in Section 3800 of the Revenue and Taxation Code of the State of California, the cost of giving the notice of this Agreement shall be paid by the City of Santa Ana; 2. That the Board of Supervisors of the County of Oa'ange agrees to sell to the City of Santa Ana all or any portion of the property - described in EXHIBIT A, attached hereto and made a part hereof, which shall not have been redeemed as p£ovided in the Revenue and T xation Code, upon pa~nnent by said City to the Tax Collector of said County the sum set forth in said EXHIBIT A after the description of the property and designated "PU~C}~ASE PRICE", within ten (10) days after this Agreement becomes effective; 3. That as provided by Section 3808 of the [{~ve,'~ue and Taxation Code of the State of California, the City will pay the "PURCHASE PRICE" to the County Tax Collector and the City will not share in the distri- bution of the payment. .~ ~ -1-
