RESOLUTION 68-77 ACCEPTING DEEDS FOR WHICH THE
<br />CITY IS PAYING A CASH CONSIDERATION

<br /> WHEREAS, HELEN MARIE JOYCE has executed a deed dated
<br />February 29, 1968, conveying to the City of Santa Ana a parcel
<br />of real property on the east side of Logan Street, north of Fruit
<br />Street, for which the City is paying a cash consideration of
<br />$11,300; said transaction is to be handled through Escrow No. 55520-C
<br />with Security Title Insurance Company, Santa Aha, California; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, CRUZ RIOS and VICTORIA RIOS have executed a deed
<br />dated March 1, 1968, conveying to the City of Santa Ana a parcel of
<br />real property on the west side of Lincoln Avenue, North of Fruit
<br />Street, for which the City is paying a cash consideration of
<br />$12,600; said transaction is to be handled through Escrow No. 55477-C
<br />with Security Title Insurance Company, Santa Ana, California; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, ~2ERCEDES MORALES, MARY ALMAZA, and VERA R. ACOSTA
<br />have executed ~a deed dated March 1, 1968, conveying to the City of
<br />Santa Ana aparcel of real property on the west side of Lincoln
<br />Avenue, North of Fruit Street, for which the City is paying a cash
<br />consideration of $13,100; said transaction is to be handled through
<br />Escrow No. 55478-C with Security Title Insurance Company, Santa Ana,
<br />California; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, SOPHIE CALVILLO has executed a deed dated March 1,
<br />1968, conveying to the City of Santa Ana a parcel of real property
<br />on the west side of Logan Street, north of Fruit Street, for which
<br />the City is paying a cash consideration of $15,800; said transaction
<br />is to be handled through Escrow No. 55479-C with Security Title
<br />Insurance Company, Santa Ana, California; and
<br />
<br /> WHEP~EAS, MANUELA ARREOLA has executed a deed dated March 1,
<br />1968, conveying to the City of Santa Ana a parcel of real property
<br />on the east side of Logan Street, north of Fruit Street, for which
<br />the City is paying a cash consideration of $12,500; said transaction
<br />is to be handled through Escrow No. 55476-C with Security Title
<br />Insurance Company, Santa Ana, California; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, NORMAN H. CASTELAN and BETTY JANE CASTELAN have
<br />executed a deed dated April 19, 1968, conveying to the City of Santa
<br />Ana a parcel of real property on the west side of Lincoln Avenue,
<br />south of Stafford Street, for which the City is paying a cash
<br />consideration of $40,100; said transaction is to be handled through
<br />Escrow No. 55603-C with Security Title Insurance Company, Santa Ana,
<br />California; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, EDNA E. ANDERSON CARLSON has executed a deed dated
<br />May 3, 1968, conveying to the City of Santa Ana an easement for
<br />street purposes on the north side of Seventeenth Street, east of
<br />Spurgeon Street, for which the City is paying a cash consideration
<br />of $3,420; said transaction is to be handled through Escrow No.
<br />463112 Vt{ with Title Insurance and Trust Company, Santa Ana,
<br />California, and in accordance with the terms of the agreement
<br />attached thereto; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, FIRST WESTERN BANK AND TRUST COMPANY, a corporation,
<br />as Trustee under the Will of WARREN K. HILLYARD, deceased, has
<br />executed a deed dated April 30, 1968, conveying to the City of Santa
<br />Ana an ~s~ment for street purposes on the south side of Seventeenth
<br />Street ~nd~the west side of Penn Way for which the City is paying a
<br />cash consideration of $3,700; and ROBERT S. FRENCH and PAULINE FRENCH
<br />have executed a quitclaim deed dated April 19, 1968, quitclaiming to
<br />the City of Santa Ana their interest as lessees of the propertybeing
<br />conveyed; said transaction is to be handled through Escrow No. 874756-
<br />hrb with First American Title Insurance and Trust Company, Santa Ana,
<br />California;
