RESOLUTION 68-95 AUTHORIZING CONDEMNATION OF
<br />REAL PROPERTY FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF NORTHEAST
<br />BOULEVARD FROM SANTIAGO STREET TO GRAND AVENUE

<br /> WHEREAS, in order to facilitate the flow of vehicular traffic
<br />from the Civic Center area onto arterial surface streets within the
<br />City of Santa Ana and onto the Santa Ana Freeway, it has become
<br />necessary to construct a new highway within the City;
<br />
<br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the
<br />City of Santa Aha does hereby find and declare that public interest
<br />and necessity require the acquisition of rights of way from Santiago
<br />Street to Grand Avenue for all the purposes of a public street in,
<br />through, and over that certain land in the City of Santa Ana, County
<br />of Orange, State of california, described as follows:

<br />The Southeasterly 12.00 feet of Lot 16, Block 52, of Santa
<br />Ana East, as shown on a map recorded in Book 10, Pages 43
<br />and 44 of Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles County,
<br />California; including all~hicular access rights to the lands
<br />lying Southeasterly of the Northwest line of the above
<br />described property.

<br />That portion of Lots 15 and 16, Block 52, of Santa Ana East,
<br />as shown on a map recorded in Book 10, Pages 43 and 44 of
<br />Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles County, California,

<br />A spandrel shaped parcel of land bounded Southwesterly by
<br />the Southwest line of said Lots 15 and 16; bounded South-
<br />easterly by the Northwest line of Parcel lA above described,
<br />and bounded Southerly by the arc of a curve concave Northerly
<br />having a radius of 25.00 feet and tangent to said Southwesterly
<br />and Southeasterly lines.

<br />City of Santa Ana, in Resolution No. 1809, a certified copy
<br />of which was recorded August 25, 1927, in Book 73, Page 308,
<br />of Official Records of Orange County, California, described as
<br />follows:

<br />Beginning at the most Southerly corner of Block 52 of said
<br />Santa Ana East, and running thence Northeasterly along the
<br />Southeasterly line of said Block 52 to the most Easterly
<br />corner thereof; thence Southeasterly along a straight line
<br />drawn between the most Easterly corner of said Block 52 and
<br />the most Northerly corner of said Block 51, and the continuation~
<br />of said line a distance of 94.27 feet, more or less, to a point
<br />in the Northerly line of Fruit Street as it now exists, 60.00
<br />feet in width; thence westerly along said Northerly line to a
<br />point in the Southeasterly prolongation of the Southwesterly
<br />line of said Block 52; thence Northwesterly along said South-
<br />easterly prolongation and along said Southwesterly line to
<br />the point of beginning.
