RESOLUTION 68-116 ADOPTING PRECISE STREET <br />ALIGNMENT OF EIGHTH STREET BETWEEN BIRCH <br />AND MORTIMER STREETS AS SHOWN ON ALTERNATE <br />ROUTE NO. 1 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, after public hearing on notice, the Planning Commission <br />has recommended, by its Resolution No. 5842, that Alternate Route No. 1 <br />between Birch Street and Mortimer Street be adopted for the convenience <br />and general welfare of the people of the City of Santa Ana; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, after public hearing before the City Council, on notice <br />as required by law, said Council determined that the recommendation <br />of the Planning Commission be adopted; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the <br />City of Santa Ana hereby finds and determines that the public interest, <br />necessity, convenience, and general welfare require that a precise <br />plan of street alignment of Eighth Street, between Birch and Mortimer <br />Streets, be established, and said Council hereby adopts the street <br />alignment plan of said street as shown on a drawing entitled "EIGHTH <br />STREET EXTENSION, ALTERNATE ~1", copies of which said drawing are on <br />file in the Department of Public Works and in the Planning Department <br />of the City of Santa Ana for inspection by the public. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana <br />at its regular meeting held on the 5th day of August, 1968. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />CLERK OF THE COUNCIL <br /> <br />MAYOR <br /> <br />STATE OF CA/~IFORNIA) <br />COUNTY OF ORANGE ) <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA ) <br /> <br />SS <br /> <br /> I, DORIS M.
