RESOLUTION 68-123 AMENDING SECTIONS <br />2, 3, 3.1, 7(b)(3) AND 8 OF RESOLUTION <br />NO. 58-281 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on November 3, 1958, the City Council passed and adopted <br />Resolution No. 58-281 revising and establishing the Basic Compensation Plan <br />for employees of the City of Santa Aha; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council has from time to time amended this <br />Resolution; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is now desired to establish a new and more uniform and <br />equitable salary schedule to replace the schedule previously listed in <br />Section 2; to assign new salary range numbers to the class titles listed <br />in Section 3; to change some rates set forth in Section 3.1; to modify the <br />approval procedure for merit advancement in Section 7(b)(3) and for reduction <br />in salary step in Section 8; all aforementioned sections of said Resolution <br />No. 58-281; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That Section 2 of Resolution No. 58-281 <br />is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br /> SECTION 2: Salary and Wage Schedule. The following salary and wage <br />schedule shall constitute the basic compensation plan consisting of five (5) <br />steps or rates of pay in each range. The respective ranges shall be identified <br />by number and the steps by the letters A to E inclusive. The columnar headings <br />at the top of each column shall establish the purpose of each step and the <br />length of service required for advancement to the next higher step as provided <br />in Section 7 hereof. <br /> <br /> Beginning After 6 Mos.
