RESOLUTION 68-125 ACCEPTING DEEDS FOR WHICH
<br />THE CITY IS PAYING NO CASH CONSIDERATION
<br />
<br /> WHERE~S, SPARKLETTS DRINKING WATER CORPORATION, a California
<br />corporation (formerly FOREMOST WATER CORPORATION, a corporation), has
<br />executed a deed dated July 31, 1968, conveying to the City of Santa
<br />Ana vehicular access rights to Newhope Street on the west side of
<br />Newhope Street, south of Seventeenth Street; and
<br />
<br /> WHEP~EAS, ALFRED C. BONNEY and RUTH BONNEY, husband and wife,
<br />have executed a deed dated August 5, 1968, conveying to the City of
<br />Santa Ana an easement for street purposes on the east side of Harbor
<br />Boulevard, 300' north of First Street; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, GARLAND E. LEEPER and UNA MAE LEEPER, have executed a
<br />deed dated August 3, 1968, conveying to the City of Santa Ana easements
<br />for street and alley purposes, and all vehicular access rights to Fifth
<br />Street at said location; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREkS, COVINGTON BROTHERS CONSTRUCTION COMPANY, a Partnership,
<br />has executed a deed dated August 7, 1968, conveying to the City of Santa
<br />Ana an easement for street and public utility purposes on the east one-
<br />half of Fairview Street, north of Wakeham Avenue; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, NELLIE RUTH SEGERSTROM, a widow, an undivided one-fourth
<br />interest; HAROLD T. SEGERSTROM and VERONICA P. SEGERSTROM, husband and
<br />wife, an undivided one-fourth interest; HENRY T. SEGERSTROM and YVOAINE
<br />de C. SEGERSTROM, husband and wife, an undivided one-fourth interest;
<br />and HAROLD T. SEGERSTROM, JR. and JEANETTE E. SEGERSTROM, husband and
<br />wife, an undivided one-fourth interest, have executed a deed dated
<br />August 1, 1968, conveying to the City of Santa Ana easements for street
<br />purposes on Fairview Street, Talbert to 750' south of Talbert Avenue;
<br />and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, JAMES L. WHITAKER, a married man, and HARRY R. MARTIN,
<br />a married man, have executed a deed dated July 30, 1968, conveying to
<br />the City of Santa Ana a temporary construction easement south of
<br />McFadden Avenue, east of the Southern Pacific Railroad; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, all of said deeds are without a cash consideration being
<br />paid to said grantors;
<br />
<br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of Santa Ana accepts
<br />said deeds; and Carl J. Thornton, the City's designated agent, is
<br />directed to place his Certificate of Acceptance on said deeds.

<br /> PASSED A_ND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana
<br />at its regular meeting held on the 19th day of August, 1968.
