RESOLUTION 68-131 ACCEPTING DEEDS FOR WHICH THE
<br />CITY IS PAYING NO CASH CONSIDERATION
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, RIDKATSO, LTD., a limited partnership, has executed
<br />a deed dated August 12, 1968, conveying to the City an easement for
<br />street and public utility purposes on the West half of Fairview
<br />Street, North of Sunflower Avenue; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA EDISON COMPANY, a corporation,
<br />has executed a quitclaim deed dated July 30, 1968, quitclaiming to
<br />the City vehicular access rights on the East side of Grand Avenue,
<br />South of McFadden Avenue; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, UNION OIL COMPANY OF CALIFORNIA, a corporation,
<br />executed a deed dated October 5, 1966, conveying to the City an
<br />easement for street purposes on the West half of Trotter Avenue,
<br />North of Edinger Avenue; and
<br />
<br />has
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, WILLIAM HARVEY ENLOE and VERGIE LOIS ENLOE have
<br />executed a deed dated August 9th, 1968, conveying to the City a~
<br />easement for street purposes on the North side of Washington Avenue,
<br />East of English Street; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, KWIK-CHEK P~EALTY COMPANY, INCL, a Nevada corporation,
<br />has executed a deed dated July 18, 1968, conv~ying to the City
<br />vehicular access rights to the south side of Seventeenth Street,
<br />West of Century Boulevard; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, EMBEE PLATING, a California corporation, has executed
<br />a deed dated July 23, 1968, conveying to the City an easement for
<br />drainage purposes South of St. Gertrude Place, East of the Southern
<br />Pacific Railroad right of way; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, COVINGTON BROTHERS CONSTRUCTION COMPANY, a partner-
<br />ship, has executed a deed dated August 26, 1968, conveying to the
<br />City an easement for drainage purposes on the East side of Fairview
<br />Street, North of Sunflower Avenue; and
<br />
<br /> Wq4_EREAS, all of said deeds are without cash consideration
<br />being paid to said grantors;
<br />
<br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of Santa Ana
<br />accepts said deeds; and Carl J. Thornton, the City's designated
<br />agent, is directed to place his Certificate of Acceptance on said
<br />deeds.
