RESOLUTION 68-139 ACCEPTING DEEDS FOR CIVIC CENTER <br />PURPOSES FOR WHICH THE CITY IS PAYING A CASH <br />CONSIDERATION <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, JOHN H. GILBERT, JR. has executed a deed dated <br />August 22, 1968, conveying to the City real property on the East <br />side of Garnsey Street, north of Third Street, for which the City <br />is paying a cash consideration of $32,850.00; said transaction is <br />to be handled through Escrow No. 55823-C with Security Title <br />Insurance Company, Santa Ana, California; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, BESSIE F. HANSON has executed a deed dated August 22, <br />1968, conveying to the City a parcel of real property on the South <br />side of Fourth Street, West of Parton Street, for which the City is <br />paying a cash consideration of $37,000.00; said transaction is to <br />be handled through Escrow No. 55822-C with Security Title Insurance <br />Company, Santa Aha, California; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, ESSIE TEDFORD ROSS and I~AL TEDFORD GARBETT, also <br />known as LILLIAN TEDFORD GARBETT, have executed a deed dated <br />September 10, 1968, conveying to the City a parcel of real property <br />on the South side of Fourth Street and the East side of Garnsey <br />Street, for which the City is paying a cash consideration of <br />$75,000.00; said transaction is to be handled through Escrow <br />No. 55821-C with Security Title Insurance Company, Santa Aha, <br />California; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor is hereby <br />authorized to sign the Escrow instructions; that the City of Santa <br />Ana accepts said deeds; and Carl J.
