RESOLUTION 68-152 AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF QUITCLAIM <br />DEEDS TO OWNERS OF RECORD WITH NO CASH CONSIDERATION <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, that portion of Alton Street lying between the <br />Pacific Electric Railway and MacArthur Boulevard has been abandoned <br />for street purposes and is of no further value to the City and <br />should be released to the owners of the underlying fee; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, heretofore, the Santa Ana Valley Irrigation <br />Company conveyed to the City of Santa Ana all right, title, and <br />interest to easements and water facilities on the south side of <br />Seventeenth Street and the east side of Sycamore Street, and it <br />has been determined that said easement is of no further use to the <br />City and should be quitelaimed to the owners of the underlying fee; <br />and <br /> <br /> W}{EREAS, the owners of certain property located on the North <br />side of Edinger Avenue, east of Main Street dedicated vehicular <br />access rights to the City, and the present owners have now requested <br />access rights at said location, which the City has determined should <br />be granted; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor and the Clerk <br />of the Council are hereby authorized and directed to execute a deed <br />quitclaiming to THE VARIOUS OWNERS OF THE UNDEP~LYING FEE, AS THEIR <br />RESPECTIVE INTERESTS MAY APPEAR OF RECORD, the following described <br />property in the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of <br />California; <br /> <br />Ail that portion of Alton Street, formerly Talbert Avenue, in <br />the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of California, <br />lying between the easterly prolongation of the North line of the <br />land described in the deed to said City recorded October 22, 1962, <br />in Book 6292, Page 63, of Official Records, and the curved <br />westerly line of the land described in the deed to Pacific <br />Electric Railway Company, a corporation, recorded July 28, 1958, <br />in Book 4364, Page 69, of Official Records. <br /> <br />RESERVING an easement to construct, place, operate, inspect, <br />maintain, repair, replace, and remove such aerial and under- <br />ground telephone, telegraph, and communication structures as <br />the Pacific Telephone Company may, from time to time require, <br />consisting of poles, anchors, wires, cables, conduits, manholes, <br />markers, and necessary fixtures and appurtenances over the <br />northwesterly 5.00 feet of that portion of Alton Street above <br />described. <br /> <br />ALSO RESERVING THEREIN an easement for existing and proposed <br />sewer facilities for use by the County Sanitation Districts of <br />Orange County, California. <br /> <br />ALSO RESERVING THEREIN for the City of Santa Aha an easement <br />for a potable water main over the southeasterly 10.00 feet of <br />the northwesterly 50.00 feet of that portion of Alton Street <br />above described; <br /> <br />and deliver the same to the Clerk of the Council. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the Mayor and the Clerk of the <br />Council are hereby authorized and directed to execute a deed quit- <br />claiming IN SEVERALTY TO THE VARIOUS OWNERS OF THE UNDERLYING FEE <br />AS THEIR RESPECTIVE INTERESTS MAY APPEAR OF RECORD the following <br />described real property in the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, <br />State of California: <br /> <br />-1- <br /> <br /> <br />
