CONSTRUCTION WATER FOR RESIDENTIAL <br />SUBDIVISION <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, there are certain expenses involved in maintaining water <br />facilities and in producing and delivering water to the consumer; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Water Utility wishes to recover said expenses from <br />the consumer; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, payment must be made to cover all water needed for <br />flooding sewer ditches, for constructing curbs, sidewalks, concrete <br />pavement, asphaltic pavement, sub-grade compaction, plastering, brick- <br />laying, irrigating lawns and plantings on the lots within the subdivision <br />for a period of four months from the time service is installed, or until <br />the utility release for the house or building is issued, whichever <br />occurs first; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the following water rates <br />shall be charged and collected as provided for in Section 7414 of <br />Ordinance No. NS-936. <br /> <br />Construction water rate at $6.00 per lot <br />and at $1.00 per 100 feet of sewer ditch. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That this Resolution shall be effectual <br />as of the effective date of Ordinance No. NS-936. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana <br />at its regular meeting held on the 21st day of October, 1968. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />CLERK OF THE COUNCIL <br /> <br />sTATE OF CALIFORNIA) <br />COUNTY OF ORANGE ) <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA ) <br /> <br />SS <br /> <br /> I, DORIS M.
