RESOLUTION 68-162 ACCEPTING DEEDS FOR WHICH
<br />TI~E CITY IS PAYING NO CASH CONSIDERATION

<br /> WHEREAS, BONNER QUALIFIED PROPERTIES, a General Partnership, and
<br />A. M. SWENSON, INC., a California corporation, and QUALIFIED INVESTMENTS,
<br />INC., a California corporation, being general partners thereof, have
<br />executed a deed dated September 26, 1968, conveying to the City easements
<br />on the north side of Santa Clara Avenue, west of Tustin Avenue, and
<br />Pasadena Street, north of Santa Clara Avenue, and vehicular access rights
<br />from Santa Clara Avenue; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, OTTO F. SCHROEDER and JOSEPHINE J. SCHROEDER, husband and
<br />wife; DOUGLAS F. WARD and MARY E. WARD, husband and wife; DONALD R. WARD
<br />and BARBARA G. WARD, husband and wife; and ROY J. WARD and ANNE V. WARD,
<br />husband and wife, have executed a deed dated October 4, 1968, conveying
<br />to the City an easement for road purposes on Beechwood Street, west of
<br />Glassell Street; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, OTTO F. SCHROEDER and JOSEPHINE J. SCHROEDER, husband and
<br />wife; DOUGLAS F. WARD and MARY E. WARD, husband and wife: DONALD R. WARD
<br />and BARBARA G. WARD, husband and wife; and ROY J. WARD and ANNE V. WARD,
<br />husband and wife, have executed a deed dated October 4, 1968, conveying
<br />to the City an easement for sewer purposes north of Santa Clara Avenue,
<br />west of Glassell Street; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, OTTO F. SCHROEDER and JOSEPHINE J. SCHROEDER, husband and
<br />wife; DOUGLAS F. WARD and MARY E. WARD, husband and wife; DONALD R. WARD
<br />and BARBARA G. WARD, husband and wife; and ROY J. WARD and ANNE V. WARD,
<br />husband and wife, have executed a deed dated October 4, 1968, conveying
<br />to the City an easement for drainage purposes north of Santa Clara
<br />Avenue, west of Glassell Street; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, MOBIL OIL CORPORATION, a New York corporation, has
<br />executed a deed dated October 4, 1968, conveying to the City easements
<br />for street purposes and easements for alley purposes on the north side
<br />of Seventeenth Street, east of Broadway; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, TEXTRON, INC., a Delaware corporation, has executed a
<br />deed dated October 10, 1968, conveying to the City an easement for
<br />traffic signal purposes on the south side of Warner Avenue at Standard
<br />Avenue; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, CHARLES H. WILLIAMSON and GENEVA I. WILLIAMSON, husband
<br />and wife; and, PAUL D. WILLIAMSON and DIANE M. WILLIAMSON, husband and
<br />wife, have executed a deed dated October 7, 1968, conveying to the City
<br />an easement for alley purposes south of Walnut Street, west of Flower
<br />Street; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, all of said deeds are without a cash consideration being
<br />paid to said grantors;
<br />
<br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of Santa Ana accepts
<br />said deeds; and Carl J. Thornton, the City's designated agent, is hereby
<br />directed to place his Certificate of Acceptance on said deeds.

<br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana at
<br />its regular meeting held on the 21st day of October, 1968.
