RESOLUTION 68-186 DECLARING CERTAIN CITY OWNED <br />REAL PROPERTY BETWEEN FOURTH AND SIXTH STREETS, <br />W~ICH WILL BECOME PORTIONS OF THE WEST DOWNTOWN <br />DIAGONAL, AND A PARCEL OF CITY OWNED REAL PROPERTY <br />ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF EIGHTH STREET, WHICH WILL <br />BECOME A PORTION OF SAID EIGHTH STREET, TO BE <br />PUBLIC STREETS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City has acquired in fee certain land located <br />between Fourth and Sixth Streets, East of Parton Street, and on <br />the South side of Eighth Street, East of Shelton Street, portions <br />of which are to become public streets; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That those portions of the <br />above mentioned lands hereihafter described are hereby declared to <br />be a public street and highway and to become a part of Fourth Street <br />in the City of Santa Ana: <br /> <br />PARCEL 1: <br /> <br />Those portions of Block A, Block B, and Block D of the <br />Ross Addition to Santa Ana, City of Santa Ana, as shown <br />on a map thereof recorded in Book 3, Pages 534 and 535, <br />Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles County, California, <br />described as follows: <br /> <br />A strip of land, 108.00 feet in width, the center line of <br />which is described as follows: <br /> <br />Beginning at a point on the center line of Fourth Street, <br />80.00 feet wide, distant 100.00 feet Westerly from the <br />center line of Parton Street, 60.00 feet wide, as said <br />streets are shown in said Ross Addition, said point <br />being the beginning of a tangent curve concave Northwesterly <br />having a radius of 800.00 feet; thence Northeasterl~ along <br />the arc of said curve through a central angle of 40- 53' 43" <br />an arc distance of 570.01 feet to a tangent line; thence <br />North 48° 45' 33" East along said tangent line a distance <br />Of 248.70 feet to the center line of Ross Street. <br /> <br />EXCEPTING THEREFROM those portions lying in Lot 6, Block D <br />in said Ross Addition. <br /> <br />PARCEL 2: <br /> <br />Those portions of Lot 1 and 2, Block A of the Ross Addition <br />to the City of Santa Ana as shown on a map thereof recorded <br />in Book 3, Pages 534 and 535, Miscellaneous Records of <br />Los Angeles County, California, lying within a spandrel <br />shaped parcel bounded on the East by the West line of <br />Parcel 3 below described, bounded on the Northwest by the <br />Southeast line of Parcel 1 above described, and bounded <br />Southerly by the arc of a curve concave Southerly, having <br />a radius of 25.00 feet, and tangent to said East and <br />Northwest boundaries. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That those portions of the above <br />mentioned lands hereinafter described are hereby declared to be a <br />public street and highway and to become a part of Ross Street in the <br />City of Santa Ana: <br /> <br />PARCEL 3: <br /> <br />Tha~ portion of Lot 1, Block A, of the Ross Addition to <br />Santa Ana, City of Santa Ana, as shown on a map thereof <br />recorded in Book 3, Pages 534 and 535, Miscellaneous <br />Records of Los Angeles County, California, lying Easterly <br />of a line parallel and 40.00 feet Westerly, measured at <br />right angles, from the center line of Ross Street. <br /> <br />EXCEPTING THEREFROM that portion lying within Parcel 1 <br />above described. <br /> <br />-1- <br /> <br /> <br />
