RESOLUTION 68-191 DECLARING THE ANNEXATION OF TERRITORY DESIGNATED "FAIRF~AVEN AND TUSTIN NORTHWEST ANNEX" TO THE CITY OF SANTA ANA WHEREAS, the Local Agency Formation Commission of Orange County has approved a description of territory hereinbelow contained and annexation of said territory to the City of Santa Ana, california; and WHEREAS, in accordance with the requirements of Government Code Section 54797.1, the Local Agency Formation Commission of Orange County has approved the within annexation and has authorized the City Council of the City of Santa Ana, California, to annex said territory without notice and hearing by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the City of Santa Aha, California, hereby finds and declares that said territory was uninhabited at the time of the adoption of this Resolution, and is contiguous to the City of Santa Ana; that all of the statements hereinabove are true and correct; and that said territory shall not be taxed to pay any indebtedness of the City existing at the time of this annexation; BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That all of the territory in the County of Orange, State of California, described as: Beginning at an angle point in the City boundary of the City of Santa Ana, California, as established by the "Fairhaven and Cambridge Southeast Annex" by Ordinance NS-576, said angle point being North 89° 58' 00" East, 591.20 feet and South 00° 02' 00" East 30 feet from the Northwest corner of Lot 1, Block "A" of the A. B. Chapman Tract as surveyed by Frank Lecouvreur in December, 1870, and shown on a map thereof recorded in Book 102, Page 15, M~scellaneous Maps, Records of Orange County, California, said angle point being a point on the South line of Fairhaven Avenue, as shown on a map of survey recorded in Book 32, Page 38, Record of Surveys in the office of the County Recorder of said Orange County, thence departing from said City boundary of the City of Santa Ana North 89" 58' 00" East along said South line of Fairhaven Avenue 87.00 feet, more or less, to the intersection of said South line of Fairhaven Avenue with the Southerly extension of the West line of Tract 3551 as shown on a map thereof recorded in Book 123 at Pages 49 and 50 of Miscellaneous Maps, Records of said Orange County, thence North 00" 08' 20" West along said Southerly extension and along said West line of Tract 3551, a distance of 690.08 feet to the Northwest corner of said Tract 3551; thence North 89° 58' 00" East along the North line of said Tract 3551 and along the North line of Tract 1672 as shown on a map thereof recorded in Book 48 at Page 39, Miscellaneous Maps, Records of said Orange County, a distance of 940 feet, more or less, to the City boundary of the City of Orange as annexed by Annexation 249; thence North 0~ 55' 51" East along said City boundary of the City of Orange 202 feet, more or less, to an angle point in said City boundary of Orange and to a point on the Southerly line of the Garden Grove Freeway; thence North 69" 05' 00" West along said Orange City boundary and along said Garden Grove Freeway Southerly right of way line, a distance of 649.26 feet to an angle point; thence North 85° 38' 15" West along said -1-
